The armor reduction seems to be around -5% per enchant and around -10% for dual weilders.

This enchant requires the following components:

Infinite Dust (12)
Greater Cosmic Essence (4)
Dream Shard (4)
Abyss Crystal (10)

If you plan to purchase your mats off the Auction House, you're probably better off just buying the scroll, which you can find for 1200 - 1400 gold. On the other hand, if you have time to prepare in advance, I'd suggest running as many heroic instances as you can, since Abyss Crystals only come from disenchanting epic gear of item level 200 or above.

As a warrior you will lose some AP from the debuff if you have Armored to the Teeth.

For a general calculation...

Arms Warrior with 15,000 armor

15,000 x .05 = 750 armor lost

(750/108)x3 = Approximately 21 AP loss from armor change

A double proc from a dual-wield setup would be about a 42 AP loss from armor change.

Just to be clear on the procc rates on this enchant, it proccs alot and renews itself, this being on a paladin.
So if ppl wonder if they should go with massacre or this one I would say this one as the proccs are kinda high, especially for ret paladins.

Oh and just to be clear as to not start any heated discussions about this. I used to abhor berserking and only used massacre cause I was under the impression that the proccs on zerking had an internal CD, when i found out this was not the case I can say that this enchant is worth the extra money needed for the abyss crystals.

If i had to choose between Berserking enchant and the Masacre enchant, which one should i pick and why? Is better to have the constant 110 AP or the random 400 AP from Berserking? Having trouble deciding. And by the way I am a Furry warrior so i actualy would get it for two, two handed weapons.

Just got this enchant on my rogue - Both weapons ofc and found out it can proc on both at the same time. Which is rather nice probably a low possibility of it happening often but its nice to know. I think the internal cd is about 25-35seconds.

Very nice enchant idd and the mats are quite easy obtainable what with Random LFG "hoping you get an enchanter" + winning the shards :D.

Testing in patch 3.3.5 + 4.0.1 Berserking has an internal CD of 60 seconds and a uptime of 15 seconds, Regardless of attacks used to proc it, Once procced its a 15 second buff duration and a 60 second CD, no matter what attacks you use after the 15 seconds has passed nothing can refresh its 60 second internal cool down.

As a paladin (giving that the 15 second duration and a 60 second CD) and 610 haste (24.18% increased weapon swing speed) 2h Massacre is the better enchant. Apon testing using auto attack only I was able to produce 27 attacks in 60 seconds, and 7 attacks in 15 seconds. Mathematically this worked out to:

27 x 110 = 2970 (Massacre), vs 7 x 400 = 2800 (Berserking).

This means the +110 attack power generated by massacre is superior to the attack power generated by berserking in the durations specified.

And for those cataclsm heads, using blessing of might which now gives 10% to attack power heres the maths:

110 + 10% = 121, 400 + 10% = 440
27 x 121 = 3267 (Massacre), vs 7 x 440 = 3080 (Berserking)

If you like simple maths:

15 x 400 = 6000 attack power, (Berserking). 60 x 110 = 6600 attack power, (Massacre).

Berzerking is for duels. and single pvp fights that last less than 20 seconds.
Massacre is for everything else. BGs, PVE.

Massacre is better for any fight that Lasts longer than 15 seconds.
berserking is better for a fight that will only last 20 seconds. (like a duel) for ONE Pvp fight out of 5 in one minute of a BG.
The other 4 fights in the last 45 seconds, its useless.

Zerking is useless if you are being kited or CC'd for 8 seconds. because the buff is lost by the time you catch up.
Massacre is constant, so it isnt effected by CC or snares.

That being said.
Often you find yourself in 20 second burst-fests, with 30 seconds of downtime between. PVE Trash and PVP.
Proc on trash, cooldown while on route to next trash.

In a BG, its a tuff call.. because half the time the burst would help. half the time the entire effect is useless due to the fact that your CCd or snared literally half the time your in a bg X_x

Massacre for PVE Boss fights.
I went Massacre for the last 6 months. Its reliable, it stacks ATKPwr.
But I'm tempted to go zerking for pvp fun times X_x, even though its technically risky. and lost half the time.

Enchant Weapon - Berserking:

1. For my rogue, because of Vitality, when it procs my rogue will get + 499 attack power instead of just + 400 (I don't know why for my rogue Vitality added 99 instead of 100 but it did).
2. For my level 70 combat rogue, every time it procs, which is pretty often, attack power goes up by (499/1540 * 100 =) 32.4%.
3. Armor "Reduces Physical Damage taken by" goes from before proc 23.85% to during proc 22.93% for a difference of only 0.92%.
4. Procs often. As of patch 4.0.3 I had this enchant proc more than once a minute (30 seconds after the start of the first proc).
When it does proc it will turn the character red for the duration of the proc.
5. Apperance: red glow that drips
