Love the druid bear outfit and monk shoulders and would definitely wear them. I wouldn't wear the hunter naga helmet myself, but I really like it as an item.
is monk tint 4 supposed to be the same image as hunter tint 2?
I think that a lot of the hate is coming from the models being on a smaller model. The caster stuff looks fine, and I'm pleased that they are going away from huge shoulders and also adding more pants. The shaman model would look great on a troll flavor wise, but would definitely be strange on any other shaman race (dwarf). Yet, it is over a cool take on a new set, albeit the belt doesn't match completely. DH, DK, Monks, and Paladins are already complete imo. Warlock feels slightly underwhelming despite having a amazing hood. Rogues are awesome, but need some extra love with colors or additional flavor things like pouches on belts or bandoleers or something, because right now they have a cool hate and chest, but feel underwhelming besides that. I like the final hunter set, but the other 3 look like MOP greens. Priest is essentially just another rendition of better sets. Mythic EN has been the best so far with the attached scrolls and such. Finally, the warrior isn't good even if its unfinished. The shoulders and helm need a complete rework, and for something to be done with the color scheme. Not saying they cant be blander colors, but as is in these photos, this set is a mix between AQ and dungeon set from outland. Hope some criticism helps.
You can't be disappointed if you don't expect anything nice.
I see the same problem as usual with the "armor types". Cloth looks like plate, leather looks like plate and mail like wood or plastic.· DK: Is there any chance blizzard release a blood-themed DK set? Please use the RED. All the pasts DK's sets look like frost/death. I'm talking about the alliance, of course the horde got the T20 red/blood colored last season of PvP. That looked impresive. The skulls of the shoulders look really bad, like a childish draw of a creature. Plate looks like plate.· DH: again with the armor type issue. Shoulders, gloves and boots are made in plate armor. There is no way those items are leather. Those spikes cannot be made in leather material... Overall dissapointing set, imho, BUT the style match a lot with the DH-themed lore.· Druid: the set looks like a cheap disguise of a bear. Restoration and Balance druids are probably very happy (irony mode on). Have you ever visited a "Natura Selection Store"? Meet the new T21 druid set. Also the kneepads are NOT leather-ish made.· Hunter: looks like a combination of various previus tiers, combining the murloc (T11) and the dragon (T2) sets. That being said, the only helm that looks "ok" is the mythic one. The LFR/normal/heroic helm looks like a leveling item. Again, let me say that using the chopped head of a creature in your own head is not a mail-material done, so: "armor type issue".· Mage: I cannot explain how much I don't like this set. Non of the images looks good: LFR/normal/heroic/mythic are just garbage. Seing what the images show probably this set got a lot of animations of those wraps in your bracers/gloves, but don't like at all. And also the helm doesn't seems to be made in cloth. · Monk: I see a lot of changes from the different difficulties. But if I want to use a monk-themed tier, this T21 don't beat the T15 which is, for me, the best tier for monk right now. · Paladin: they have probably use the paladin's T13 as a template. Have you seen the heroic version of T21? It looks EXACTLY the same as a recolored version of T13... Come on, please... pity.· Priest: sorry, I don't know a lot of priest's tiers. Still dont like it visually and I cannot sense any lore themed version looking at T21. It looks more like a "phoenix-angel-mage tier".· Rogue: probably the worst of all. Sorry rogues.· Shaman: again with the troll-themed tier. T15, hello again.· Warlock: the best set visually, as always, BUT again the armor looks a lot like chain/mail/plate and of course not cloth.· Warrior: don't like it. Looks like the class-hall set combined with the T6. Still we don't have the full picture of it, since the textures are not yet completed.
Druid, hunter and shaman look really cool. Priest and pals are not bad either. FInally Blizz are making good looking sets again :D Rogue looks like he could be a bard or a hunter in some other game tho :D
Gotta say....from Warlock view...this is the WORST tier visual ever.Usually we do okay with tiers but...THAT!....is garbage :|!
All these sets look like questing gear. But hey, at least no class in particular got shafted and they're all equally meh. Personally ill be sticking with DK Tier 19.
The Rogue set looks better when all the 3D accessories on the set is there, currently MMO-Champion's model viewer shows that (though their images on the front page don't for some reason). Also we need more dapper hats in the game :)
I hope they are some kind of placeholders. Propably one of the worst looking sets Blizzard ever made. They should make something special af. Especially that Argus is insanely important part in WoW story.
THe DK set looks great, the rest... I duno what to say, they just look terrible!
All non-mythic versions look like an ordinary dungeon set, not raid.
Another ugly mage set :'|
Wow, really unimpressive. Looks like green quest gear. All around this tier looks horrible. That warlock tier....just wow...the Inquisitor demon stuff from WQ looks ten times better and I'm not a fan of that look either. First no flight in 7.3 and now this, looks like a good stopping point for WoW for me.
Each class looks to be "inspired" by other tier sets, for the most part, anyway.DK - Reminds me of their T7 setDH - is like from Firelands (that dark phoenix purple set), maybe it's not 100% complete?Druid - a "beefier" version of the Ironpaw set from LFR Warlords raid(s). Looks alright.Hunter - Like T2 and T11, actually the naga helm looks kinda cool.Mage - Ok, maybe not a tier set. Kinda looks like a Magneto/ Dr. Strange hybrid. Kinda cool.Monk - looks like a "mythic" version of what T15 would have been. My beef is with the hat, the hair getting cut off (but that's ALWAYS been an issue with me and some helms)Paladin - Pretty much a better version of the Dragon Soul set. I can dig it.Priest - Looks pretty cool. Kinda looks like an early mage tier.Rogue - Kinda unique. Love the Robin Hood-esque cap (Would have said King of Daventry, but not sure how many people would recognize the King's Quest reference :P)Shaman - I dunno, this set seems to be more fitted towards like a Zandalar raid than an Argus one. It'll probably grow on me.Warlock - Looks kinda plain, almost like it's not finished.Warrior - Ugh, resembles the Trial of the Crusader tier. Hated T9.I dunno, seems like the art department is dropping the ball lately. I guess I was expecting something with an Argus/otherworldy feel to it.
These have to be placeholders, mostly. The DK ones are fantastic; especially mythic. Mage ones are all right, but still mediocre. But the rest look like they are very much under development - lacking in depth, creativity and complexity. I say hold your breath and wait until the PTR has been chugging along for a fair bit before passing judgement, as they are (hopefully) going to undergo transformation (or we will all be transmogrifying).
Wow, while not perfect, Finally a Rogue set more for Outlaw
Paladin Tier sucks as always. DK set is awesome as is the Shaman, Druid, Monk, and Warlock. Idk what the hell they're thinking with rogue.
