Visions of N'Zoth Assaults for March 20th (NA)/21st (EU) - Mantid in Vale of Eternal Blossoms
It is the middle of the week, which means a minor assault flip has just happened on NA servers! The Mogu are gone from Vale and the Mantid take over as the driving force behind the minor assault for the rest of the week. EU servers will get their minor assault flip at 8pm CET on Saturday.
With the assault flip, a new set of dailies and events are up in Vale of Eternal Blossoms for people to complete. You have 12 hours from the assault flip to complete these dailies and events before the daily reset.

Restrictions Removed from Purchasing Role-Specific Azerite Essences with Echoes of Ny'alotha
Blizzard has made an update to the Echoes of Ny'alotha system, removing the restrictions from purchasing role-specific Azerite Essences from Echoes of Ny'alotha. This means that pure DPS classes can now purchase Tank or Healer Essences from the same activity without having that exact Essence on another character, similar to the way the Nazjatar and Mechagon Essences already worked.

Echoes of Ny'alotha removed from Emissary Quests
The recently added Echoes of Ny'alotha currency has caused a bug which prevents players from turning in the Unshackled Emissary quest today, leading Blizzard to remove the extra currency rewarded from Emissary Quests in order to restore functionality. No word yet on whether this is permanent, though it would stand to reason that it is likely a temporary solution until a proper fix is found.

Unlock Echoes of Ny'alotha by Logging on a Character with a Rank 3 Essence
In order to unlock the Echoes of Ny'alotha system and receive the currency from sources, Blizzard has announced that you must first log on a character with a Rank 3 Essence. If you don't, your chest will not contain Echoes of Ny'alotha and Blizzard will not be able to provide any currency.

Eternal Palace and Battleground Essences Require Exact Essence to Unlock with Echoes of Ny'alotha
The Eternal Palace and Battleground essences require the exact Essence on another character to unlock. This means that pure DPS mains will not be able to unlock the Tank and Healer essences from these sources unless they have obtained them on another character that can Tank and/or Heal.

With the Weekly Reset on March 17th (NA) / 18th (EU), the Legendary Cloak cap will be increased to the maximum of Rank 15. This week, upgrading the Cloak will provide you with the final upgrade to Sanity Protection in Horrific Visions and awarding you the achievement Unwavering Resolve, which means that the Black Serpent of N'Zoth is now available if you've completed the rest of the meta achievement.
