Updates in Legion
Beast Mastery still holds exclusive rights to exotic beasts in Legion. Since party and raid stat buffs have been removed, many pets no longer have any special abilities. Pets that had non-buff specials such as the

Due to the loss of the old Spirit Bond talent and the Glyph of Mending, pet healing and general survivability has taken a bit of a dive. When out soloing in the world, you may find the need to sacrifice some damage and spec your pet into Tenacity to increase its survivability. You will want to be proactive with keeping
up at all times for soloing and leveling.
