Jademist Dancers drop from the Jademist Dancer mobs.
- Monstrous Spineclaws have a chance to spawn anywhere that Ancient Spineclaw's can spawn. Therefore, farming Ancient Spineclaw's can increase your chance of spawning the rare Monstrous Spineclaw.
- And some of these mobs do pat, so try to be aware of their pathing. These markers just make running laps a little easier. :)

Started farming for the rare yesterday with no luck. Started again today and lo and behold, while I was killing one, another spawned right behind him.

Neither of them dropped anything out of the ordinary, just Timeless Coins and Lesser Charm of Good Fortune. One of them dropped a Scuttler's Shell.

Thought I'd add my two bits worth to let people know that he can and does spawn twice in one spot.

I play on a small server and looting this pet was proving to be a real nightmare, simply because I rarely saw the rare crab spawn and the few times I did my lack of luck with WOW's RNG system was making sure I did not win the pet. Besides, the crab never showed up in my auction house so I was getting pretty much convinced that It would be impossible for me to get this pet in a conventional way(without farming/camping). That was until I decided to take some time and find a way to "farm" this pet.

I came to the conclusion that you won't gain anything by just mindlessly killing crabs along the shore because the rare could appear in a place that you are currently not in and you will have wasted your time killing tons of crabs for a guy that just arrived in the island to randomly find the rare crab, get the kill and loot the pet while you are left empty-handed after all your work. Your best chance is to camp a place filled with crabs and kill them, wait for their respawn and proceed to kill them again.

I found the northwestern shore of the island a really good place to farm these crabs(the place where the Jademist Elementals are) because not only will you have plenty of crabs to kill but you will also have a chance to loot the pet from the elementals(while waiting for the crabs to respawn) and you can also pick up the spawn of an Imperial Python. If you are a leatherworker you can skin the dead crabs for some leather and also speed the respawn of the crabs.

Lastly, the rare crab is not in a spawn timer because all the times I saw him respawn were completely random times, there was even once when I was farming normal crabs for almost 2 hours without a single spawn in my zone when suddenly 2 rare crabs appeared almost consecutively.

I wish everyone good luck in getting this pet, it's surely the toughest one to get in the island but you will eventually get it if you don't give up.

Not sure if anyone wants to know, but it seems as though the rare that drops this spawns in place of an Pinzaespina antiguo.

And (on the north shore of the timeless isle) there are about 6-8 crabs, and they take 5:30 minutes to respawn.

This nonsense will be the end of me. Why oh WHY did I ever get started on this achievement? Now I can't leave it alone! Ooooh nooo. I just can't cut my losses now, oh no, no no. It's those 10 nerdpoints I need now, isnt it? I spend most of my days farming crabs right above the Horde FP. While alliance, as long as you don't die to the mobs too often it is the place with the most crabs close together, thereby increasing the number of crabs killed and thus the chance of spawning a rare. The dropchance is rather low, and so is the chance of spawning the rare. Don't give up!

... This pet is the last item i need for ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?. I have rarity, and i have 42 kills since i installed it, but more then a few more before that.... any day now.... what time is it again...? Hey, hey horde person... get off my beach this is my beach... killing crabs... wait CRAB OMG CRAB CRAB alert omg finally.... coins. Back to crabs. I don't remember what the rest of azeroth looks like anymore.

After 3 straight months of on and off hardcore crab farming, I got my pet of my 195th rare kill, off a random crab after i had given up around crab 180. I got my achieve, and will never need to farm coins or lesser charms again....

Other information:
-This pet drops of Pinzaespina monstruoso which is spawned by killing Pinzaespina antiguo
-Buying the pet of the AH or from another player does NOT count for the achievement ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?.
-Multiple crabs can be up at once, there is no spawntimer. That time i was there with 5 people for 9 hours and no crabs? Just bad luck. Ha.
-Pinzaespina antiguo has a 5:30 spawntimer. I personally found that the rares spawned earlier then replacements, so dont take that as a time to AFK.
-I think i made about 4k selling crabmeat, and filled an alt's bank with all the timeless gear i looted. The crabs aren't great to farm, but you might as well take what you can get from them. But for the love of , don't leave your beach while there are still unspawned crabs. They know. You'll come back to a dead rare. Trust me.

For you Bigger Baggers out there...

To clarify, the Monstrous Spineclaw spawn is clearly tied ONLY to killing Ancient Spineclaws. That means that even if people are killing Spineclaws elsewhere, you're still better off camping north of the horde flight path where there are 7 crab spawns in easy reach (don't forget the one near where you can summon Archierius of Flame/Three Breeze Terrace, east of the 6 clumped spawns).

My point is that your chance to spawn one near you and tag it in time is not changed by other people farming crabs elsewhere (it's just a bummer if an extra one spawns on the other side of the map and you can't get to it/don't know where it is). Every time a crab dies it has a chance to return as a Monstrous Spineclaw. There can be multiple Monstrous Spineclaws up at once.

After diligently camping this for over a week, I got mine after 16 kills (~80 stacks of Raw Crab Meat) and I felt lucky. On my high population server I would force a Monstrous Spineclaw spawn about once every 90 minutes, although the respawn timer was HIGHLY variable and I literally missed 4 kills from getting up for a glass of water. I would farm for 5 hours and see 2 spawns. Then 3 hours and see 2 spawns. Then 3 hours and 0 spawns.

Tips: Note that Chelon is nearby and can be activated by you only once per day (like the purple crystal), so call out for someone to spawn him if you see his shell. You can farm Jademist Dancer pet while you wait, get 5 Condensed Jademist to avoid bloody coin farmers and 10 Scuttler's Shell.

Good luck getting your Spineclaw Crab, easily the most difficult item to obtain for your Bigger Bag achievement.

After camping this guy for several days, killing the rare A LOT and becoming sure that it was one of those "drops" that I won't have the pleasure of getting, I decided AH was my best bet. Not being a very crowded server, I was not luckier with finding the pet on the AH or Trade Chat. That's when I checked The undermine journal and saw that the crab was last seen 6 weeks ago on my AH. That is simply crazy, I decided and started looking at other server's data. Well. On a high population foreign server whose language I don't speak, there was 5 crabs at the AH, and as low as 4.5k!

That, I can do. Rolled a DK there, equipped with mining/skinning. Also transferred a few extra pets I had lying on the bank there, put on their AH. In less than a week I've bought my crab, and even got a few better breeds of other pets - cause my stuff kept selling even after I had enough money.

Just an idea. Will work if you're able to use your professions and/or play the AH.

Looking for those who are actively trying to farm the Spineclaw Crab pet off Monstrous Spineclaw rares on the island for the achievement . Being able to have access to multiple server's spawns can reduce the time required for this achievement significantly.

If interested add ************* and I will notify you if it spawns on my server. Vice versa if it spawns on yours.

EDIT: Finally got the crab today, thank you to all those who helped me. Credit goes to netherfury on Mok'nathal for inviting me for the winning kill.

Got this pet on my 50th Monstrous Spineclaw kill.

Also, me and a friend both got this pet on the SAME Monstrous Spineclaw. We were not grouped also. I guess that's the definition of "personal" loot.

Since I'm a skinner, through all that farming, I had enough leather to make 208 Magnificent Hide.

For those who see this pet on the AH please be aware that even though you can purchase one, usually at a high cost, it will NOT count towards the achievement Going to Need a Bigger Bag. You must grab one from the Timeless Isle.

This is indeed one of the toughest items to farm in this game.

Got this a few months ago, and was thinking it's time to share some tips & other observations :

The Monstrous Spineclaw has a chance to spawn from any Ancient Spineclaw spawnpoint, considering you cleared that point by killing the crab
Each Spawn point has it's own chance to spawn a rare, if someone has spotted a Monstrous Spineclaw on the other side of the island, don't get angry - he hasn't "stole" your rare.
Chance of a rare to spawn from a single spawn point is around 2.5% from calculations I made while farming it, hence horde camp is the best point to farm since it has the most spawn points in a reachable area.
Deriative from the above statements - there can be multiple Rares up at the same time, I personally witnessed Three up in the horde camp alone !

Time = Money -- this is something you will not hear every day :

if you, like most people in the world over the age of 18, are earning above $5/h salary, you should really get a 2nd (or 3rd) MoP License on your B.Net account, Move your Lvl90 Alt there or even spend the extra money to buy one, that way you can log both chars simultaneously and have double the chances on each kill !
you shouldn't really pay for extra game time since it already comes with 30 days which should be enough.

You might think it's waste to spend like $100 on a stupid achievement, but consider the following statements :

Pet Drop Chance is 1.9% (According to Wowhead), so probability is that 50% of the farmers will get it after 39 tries, 80% of the farmers will get it after a whooping 89 kills, I even heard worst cases of ~300 kills...
Rare seen on average every 3h, where you will most likely stay tuned since it can spawn every second.
Even if you are lucky enough to be on the 50% side which gets it after 39 tries, you still "wasted" around 120 hours from your life, if you could save half of that time on doing something productive instead, you will most probably end up on the winning side.

If you can't spare the money but can spare the extra time, ignore the second part of my post.

I got this on timeless isle yesterday. I probably have killed 3 or 4. I dont see them much since they are in the water and off the map.
I am here to see why the only one is 20k in the AH. I guess i hit the jackpot.

Just to say I had the isle to myself for a couple hours this morning. WoD is so laggy I decided to continue farming for it. No spawns in an hour of killing every single crab over and over. Then got a double spawn...I thought that once the population on the isle dwindled that this would be easy to force to spawn but that is simply not true. One an hour seems to be the average even with the isle all to yourself. The grind is just as annoying in WoD unfortunately :(

I know this will get down-voted but I must keep my insanity while getting this achievement, so I just need to talk to somebody about it - maybe with a psychiatrist?

Was the drop ratio increased? We went there to farm it with 4 people. First got his after 3 crabs, second got his after 12 crabs, I got mine + bigger bags Achievement after 18 crabs. So happy! But doesn't seem like 2% drop chance.

So there I am, an aloof hunter, in the notorious island of Timeless. I set my hopes on obtaining this ominous and yet increasingly notorious pet, by smiting multitudes of crabs. I keep my self to my self, I cause no harm to no one..well only to the crabs, who in vain attempt try to scuttle way. All to no avail.

The beach is littered by my slaughter, but do not fret, I am a Leather worker, so my slaughter turns into something even more twisted, YES I skin my kills. Oh the encroaching feelings of annoyance, frustration and...`I could do with going for a wee`

So I return only to find some stranger has obliterated my quarry, which I feel had its last say and its vengeance by spawning only for HIm, that darn MAGE. How I want to drop to my knees and scream to the heavens...`whyyyyyyyyyyyy!` and at the same time mouth profanity, just under my breath, shaking my fist towards the back of that pesky infernal mage. Who I may add is jumping in glee and laughing at my fate, due to obtaining the focus of all my efforts.

A solitary tear glides down my cheek, and I am alone once again on THAT beach, the visions that haunted me so beautifully, of having precious spine claw crab folow me on my adventures and share a beer at goldshire...fading at every passing second.

Oh will I ever claim him as mine, Will My hunter get closer to that damn achievment...

Simple zen farm

1) I recommend to ONLY farm this spot : 22.5, 34.
2) Don't kill them elswhere, team up or change sides if you have to. As long as you tag it you'll get 2% chance to get the pet.
3) Do this macro for ease of use

Mount farming has been testing at times; thankfully been running 11-16 characters through each week for the past few months. Appreciate the comments here about how long it took to obtain them, as it let me know I wasn't alone. So here are my stats according to Rarity (there probably an additional 20-40 kills on each before I started using the addon):

Drake of the South Wind (mostly 10m): 437 kills
Smoldering Egg (Rag, 10m): 303

Swift Zulian Tiger: 102

Mimiron's Head: 82

Jade Direhorn (1in20): 49

Spineclaw Crab (1in60): 180 (ran a group through LFG so people were spread out on different sides of the isle farming crabs, yelling when we saw one and waiting until the group got there - got a lot of kills in that way and was worth explaining to people what to do, only having to kick a few who were freeriding or not paying attention - i ran around the house a couple times due to excitement when this finally showed up, probably 6-8k crabs killed)

I spent several hours last night running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to find these rare mobs/drops. So today I made myself a little guide to make my pet hunting smoother.

This is listed in order going clockwise from Huojin Landing:

Jademist Dancer - (25.5, 29.2) These drop from their big brothers and sisters. I like to clear them out and then run over to the crane nests and make a round while the Dancers are respawning.

Azure Crane Chick - (33.0, 42.5) These are looted from crane nests. They are found under trees all around the Celestial Tournament. Look for a cluster of several small chicks under trees, that's where you'll find nests.

Skywisp Moth - (Need Highwind Albatross) These are wild pets you can obtain by pet battling. Many of them are on high cliffs that are unreachable since we can't fly here. See Cielos's explanation on how to get up there.

Jadefire Spirit - (43.6, 40.7) (Cavern of Lost Spirits) These drop from the rare elite Spirit of Jadefire. He spawns randomly in different parts of the cave. The spawn time ranges from 30-60 minutes.

Ominous Flame - (43.6, 40.7) These drop from the Foreboding Flame mobs inside the cave, the same cave where the Jadefire Spirit drops.

Ashwing Moth - (East & South of Celestial Tournament) These are just normal wild pets that are caught by pet battling.

Bonkers - (58.0, 42.2) Inside the cave you will find Master Kukuru who will sell you a key for 500 Timeless Coins. Bonkers can be looted from the chests.

Flamering Moth - (Blazing Way & Timewalker Ruins) This is a wild pet that can be captured by pet battling. Seems like it's almost always a secondary pet to an Ashwing Moth or a Skywisp Moth.

Gulp Froglet - (64.0, 70.6) These drop from the rare elite Bufo. Bufo spawns approximately every 30-60 minutes. Killing the frogs in the area does absolutely nothing.

Dandelion Frolicker - (45.6, 72.9) These drop from the friendly Nice Sprites you see surrounding the trees with orange crystals on them. You "use" the purple crystals nearby to turn them into Scary Sprites so you can kill them. The purple crystals are on a spawn timer, so if you don't see them it's because they're not up yet. If you're standing near the tree, you'll see the purple crystal if it's up. (see mel9525's instructions)

Gu'chi Swarmling - (41.1, 81.2) These drop from the rare elite Gu'chi the Swarmbringer. He spawns at the south-east edge of Old Pi'jiu Village by the water then paths counter-clockwise around the village until he reaches the shore again. His spawn timer is approximately 30-60 minutes.

Skunky Alemental - (36.9, 76.5) These drop from the rare elite Zhu-Gon the Sour. Apparently he spawns with the "Skunky Brew" event that occurs every 30-60 minutes. (see defektunge's explanation)

Ashleaf Spriteling - (67.3, 44.1) These drop from the rare elite Leafmender. Follow the path from south of the Celestial Tournament all the way around to get here. He spawns under a tree at the top of the hill on the left hand side with a bunch of his little sprite friends. His spawn timer is approximately 30-60 minutes, but if he is killed and not looted it throws the timer off by about 30-45 minutes.

Ruby Droplet - (64.5, 27.1) These drop from the rare elite Garnia at the ruby lake. (see elfomal's instructions to get there) The spawn timer is approximately 30 minutes, but make sure you loot the body so it despawns otherwise it will take an extra 30 minutes.

Death Adder Hatchling - (31.0, 68.0) These drop from the rare elite Imperial Python. My understanding is that it will spawn in the place of a dead Death Adder. Focus on the south-west where they are more closely clustered together. (see Jaladar's method)

Spineclaw Crab - (28.7, 75.4) These drop from the rare elite Monstrous Spineclaw. For more information, check out Heathmonn's very detailed instructions.

Finally done with Going to Need a Bigger Bag! What a feeling after farming for 3 and a half year! This was the last item i needed, started to farm it 2 days ago using 3 characters on 3 different servers (2 dead and my main) had 15 kills when i started farm that i've gotten from MoP, WoD and some random kills, and on the 28th kill it dropped! The best way i found to do it was that if you're alone you should just stand and kill the 6 crabs close to the horde flypath. But if you find anyone to farm with i would recommend to farm the whole beach since it's having a faster chance to spawn since more spawns is getting cleared! Last i wanted to add is don't give up! you will get it sometime! :D

During MoP, I didn't make any particularly special efforts to grind this pet. If I happened across a Pinzaespina monstruoso, great, but I didn't really go out of my way. Since then, I've spent a half an hour to an hour here and there every few months trying to grind this pet. I finally decided to sit down for a good grind on this today. After about 6 hours and 12 Pinzaespina monstruoso kills, I had my Cangrejo pinzaespina.

My strategy was to NOT grind only one area. I'm on a low-pop server, and mostly had the Isle to myself. The first thing I did was prepare my Hunter for quick kills in rapid succession. I specced into Bandada de cuervos since the CD resets after every kill and doesn't require a ranged weapon to be equipped. Then I equipped my Caña Sondaluz with Bendición de Sondaluz for underwater travel speed and breathing. From there, I'd start at 31,31 and make my way underwater (as an underlight angler fish) around the shorline, west, south, and then east to 43,87. Along the way, I'd cast Bandada de cuervos on every Spineclaw I found, not necessarily waiting for it to die, and definitely not spending the time looting it. Once I hit the end of a single pass, I'd mount up and cut northwest on land back to my starting point. After getting back to the starting point, the first Spineclaws
I'd killed would respawn within a minute or two and then I'd restart my route. Rinse, repeat, and make sure to loot Pinzaespina monstruoso.

This will probably be right at the bottom and never be read, but if you are on a high populated realm or on a server that has a busy Timeless island.

Create a class trial on a less populated server, fly it to Timeless Island and invite your main into the group using custom groups.

This is a very peaceful farming solution to use in case you have to step away from your PC in-between spawns, because you are less likely to lose your kill.

I have found a really fast way to farm spineclaw crabs. Just use Receta: Festín de pescados to create a Festín de pescados which will turn you into to a fish and give you 225% underwater speed while you will take 2% damage every second you are out of the water. the buff is usable while fighting and while mounted and can be extended by 1 hour up to six hours with Beicon crujiente, though if you have more than 6 Beicon crujiente in your bag you can continue eating it when the buff goes below 6 hours to further extend it. This recipe is purchased from Guardiana Raynae for 50 Glóbulo corrupto, which are obtained while fishing when the NPC is up. This recipe only takes a few hours to earn and using it is currently the fastest way to travel underwater. If you are thinking of farming this recipe it is best to farm it now since Glóbulo corrupto are best farmed in a raid group and it will be much harder to find Legion fishing groups when Battle for Azeroth is released.

I started to farm ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor? with one friend.
We were going to the last 8 items and Cangrejo pinzaespina was one of them...
We hopped to a roleplay realm so we won't get phased away and killed all of those Pinzaespina antiguo around the island (~20-30 Pinzaespina antiguo every round).
Through the fact that we are on a RP-realm, which was dead, we could kill these all Pinzaespina antiguo without having the fear that someone kill Pinzaespina monstruoso (which dropps Cangrejo pinzaespina ).
My friend farmed other items during the time where I killed Pinzaespina antiguo.

Some tips of mine:

I was unlucky that I didn't have Caña Sondaluz skilled, but if you have, use it!
If you have the same problem as me, you can use Yelmo de bisoño maldito like I did (unfortunately it has a big cd on it...)
Kill Pinzaespina monstruoso with friends!
(Warmode on on a playerdead rp realm)

You probably ask why with friends?
Because you only need ONE drop for everyone to get it for ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?.
I got it after 13 Pinzaespina monstruoso kills and I could cross it out of my list, then I gave it to my friend. She took it and couldn't cross it out. Then she reloaded everything and nothing happened. After that we tried with a relog and now, she could cross it also out.
So we could cross for us booth it out with only ONE Cangrejo pinzaespina.
VERY IMPORTANT
Do not learn it if you want do this "trick"! If you learn it and cage it then, it won't trigger the progress! Only Cangrejo pinzaespina as item and not as pet will trigger the progress!

So after 3 days of farming it, I can finally say, it's mine and we, my friend and I, don't have to farm it further and I hope, I could help some of you! Good luck with farming it! <3

After killing 17000+ Anicent Spineclaws and 174 Monstrous Spineclaw i finally got the pet. This has been the worst item i have farmed in my 11 years of World of Warcraft. Never ever stepping my foot down in Timeless Isle waters again.

I was farming for about an hour today and I've had 5 Monstrous Spineclaws spawn.. all by the Horde FP. I'm not sure if I'm having a good day, or if Blizz has finally done something to the spawn rate? I even had two spawn at once!

Got it few minutes ago. And it was last piece for achievement. 7 years of lazy farming and thousands crabs. And finally!
Few obvious tips:
1) find "dead realm" where you can do this staff to prevent stealing.
2) better do with somebody but YOU CANNOT TRADE IT. Read several comments about trading with relogs trick but it doesnt rly work. Crab is personal loot and it havent message about possibility to trade.
3) you r not rly require help with crab. 39 crabs totally on island. With legion fishing pole you can kill them all before full circle of respawn. Respawn timer between 5:30 and 7:30. So even if you do ur laps pretty short it makes no sense. Cos you anyway have to w8 all spawns to be sure you didnt miss the rare. So around 8 full circles per hour. 300-310 crabs. With some unluck this crabs takes more time all other rares on island.

Sometimes I feel like you just gotta bite the bullet and pay up rather than farm something. I've been doing a lot of pet collecting lately and I came to this one and looked at how to acquire it... Let's see, a difficult to spawn rare with a 2% droprate rate. Let's see, suppose this rare takes on average an hour of farming to spawn. Then that is 50 hours of my time on average to get the pet. On the AH the pet is usually around the 200-300k mark. A dedicated gold farmer can make somewhere in the 30-50k per hour (alternatively at the start of an expansion you can make 100k+ an hour). Which means I could have enough to buy the pet in 5-10 hours if I just farmed gold instead. My advice is, unless you want the achievement, if you really want this pet, just buy it off AH.

Hi , i would like to share my own experience with this pet. I started farming for this pet before 2 weeks. On a low population server with my paladin. I know paladin class isn't the best for farming but thats all i have:P Anyway on Holy spec which gives me more range spells(and a small speed bonus every 3 mins) i started every day farming crabs all around the coast. Sometimes i just camped near horde Fly path. The pet dropped for me at 216 attempts , which is totally unlucky.
Some things to boost your farming are : 1.Use the feather at Timeless island that gives you 30% mounted speed
2.Try to walk on water for faster checking spots.
3.There are 2 toys that can be helpful which are Aqua Jewel and Cursed Swabby Helmet.
4.And a last thing , you must grab every patience you have inside you cause this thing really can get you crazy.
Now its time to rest a bit.

So... I finally got the pet to drop today. After years of camping and slaughtering it dropped. I have tried about every strategy I could find on Wowhead. I character boosted a toon on the lowest population server I could find and went to work. I did this about 2 months ago and been hitting it multiple times a day.

Which one dropped this coveted pet?

Absolutely none of one.

When my 3 year old granddaughter comes to visit, she wants to play Warcraft. So she was running around and wanted to kill these "evil crabs."

She one-shotted a Monstrous Spineclaw and the damn pet dropped. She wasn't there FIVE minutes and BOOM, the little rascal dropped.

Next time she is over, we are camping Huolon!

Worth checking all the spawn points if you are reloading Timeless Isle repeatedly for other rares as well. This is one of the most elusive items required for my fellow bagmen, and it feels worthless to farm early even if you're on a dead RP realm all to yourself...

Even with the entire zone often to myself, I scarcely EVER saw the monstrous spinemaws loaded in with the world. I had a theory that all of the rare spawns of normal mobs on the isle could be capped to a certain number at once, potentially preventing monstrous ones from spawning. I started to kill the Imperials, the Ironfurs, the Emerald Ganders out of morbid curiosity and certainly desperation as well, then doing laps clearing all the spinemaw spawns.

It made a noticeable difference, whereas I'd go several consecutive laps without seeing one monstrous, to suddenly seeing one every single lap. It feels like a coincidence, its just such a low spawn rate but with so many spawn points the chances were just bad in either direction of luck probably. But because of my superstition I've added it to my current farming route. Over an hour I'll clear all the spawns I need for other items twice, then clear spinemaws, while also constantly killing the other shared rare spawns.

This method of mine has been remarkably efficient at getting every other item I've been missing. 1-2 Moss and 2 Jadefire kills per cycle, per hour is honestly stellar and only possible because I have no competition.

I would not have had the stamina, the will, or the spirit to do this achievement during current content. Would be a nightmare indeed. Even though I was on that island 24/7 back in the day, I didn't pick up even half the items needed....

Also, last note: Do this on a druid. You can just steer your character through the water in travel form and auto attack each spinemaw, it makes the whole route take quite nearly 5:30 minutes so each spinemaw will have respawned by the next time you get to it again. The downside is its a much more active farm than camping in one area of the island and only getting those handful of spawns. This is a method you can only really employ if you've got the whole island to yourself, something only achievable on RP realms.

this small guy is my last one for the achievement and the easiest way to farm it is.... there is no easy way.

first of all, walk around the water once to check that it isnt up somewhere
after that, go to 23 33 and kill those crabs, u have 7 crabs in the same spot and they respawn in 5-10min
the rare has a low chance to spawn instead of the normal ones, so just keep killing me.
most days i can make it spawn in less than an hour, but other days i waste a lot of time

¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?, this was the hardest achievement in Mists of Pandaria.
I got this on the last day of the expansion: 14 December in 2011.
For this achievement I've spend a total of 4 mounths playing 4 hours a day.
This achievement is hardest cause do you need loot rare items from rare mobs.
Even the rares having 30 to 60 minutes spawn the problem here is cause those rares has low hp and die fast, making you lose then.

Another factor that make this achievement hard, is because the items needed has low drop chance.
For example the Riendas del dragón nimbo de ónice tronador, this mount has 0.9% drop chance, and was my last item for conclud the achievement.
I've spend a total of 400 trys to loot this mount.

My strategy for don't lose my mind while doing this insane grind was watching one piece while the Huolon doesnt spawn.
The addon called Rare Coordinator was great to track the rare spawn times, but I guess it's doesnt work on Dragonflight, cause you need other players to tracking with you.

Don't forget to use move speed items and teleport to reach rares faster.

Lil update on my adventure with this lil guy.

I could not find any information in regards to whether Chromie Time worked for this, so I decided to try it out myself.
The strategy was simple, log in, check if the crab is up by swimming (using Cursed Swabby Helmet) all the way around the island (from to through the bottom side), logging out, and then swimming back when I was in a new shard.
I used this macro to check what shard ID I was in:

If you are in a shard you have already been in, just log back out and try again later. I would highly recommend using low population realms as the requirements to get a new shard is for the current shard to be inactive for 15 minutes.

For the killing part, I was able to solo kill the crab in Chromie Time with Protection Paladin, Protection Warrior, Guardian Druid, and Beast Master Hunter. Did not try any others so cannot comment on their viability for this.

Occasionally the rare will drop 0 loot, as in not even be lootable. If this happens, just mark your character as done for the day. At no point was I able to loot the crab twice in a single day on a single character in Chromie Time.

I would say this method is probably going to take longer than actively farming it, but it will require way less effort. :)

I ended up getting the crab drop in 36 attempts where the crab was lootable, spread across 6 characters in different low population realms.
The drop was in Chromie Time so I can confirm that it can drop in Chromie Time.

One of the more annoying items to collect for ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?.

Like Imperial Python, Emerald Gander, Ironfur Steelhorn, and Great Turtle Furyshell, Pinzaespina monstruoso is a "replacement" rare that has a chance to spawn in place of a Pinzaespina antiguo.

However, the spawn points for Monstrous Spineclaw/Ancient Spineclaw are way more spread out than the other NPCs, and many of the spawn points are underwater (or even in the fatigue zone).

If you're going for ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?, I recommend only killing any Monstrous Spineclaws you happen to find while hunting other rares. Hopefully it won't be one of the last items you need. But if it is, then the best place to farm is by the Horde camp where 5-6 of them spawn:

Killed it with 4 accounts 38 times plus some 20 times since MoP i estimate so around 170 times i looted the rare crab before the pet dropped. had 3 characters just sit on my mammoth at the center of the island while i swam around clearing crabs with my druid then before killing the rare brought my looters there. I started to strongly suspect having more characters on your same account there loting it didnt increase my chances, i started to get paranoid im sure you all know that feeling when something wont drop so then i put on the scuttler shell helmet that allways drop from the rares having lost my mind completly i went running around with the shells on my head and would you believe it, the next rare crab dropped the pet

If you play on quiet realms this is acually fairly easy to farm.

Blizzard implemented a feature some time ago where a zone unloads if no one visits it for some time, I believe it to be 15 minutes. If you visit the zone after this point the zone has to reload, often with a long load time if you teleport there. A result of this is that every mob will be forced to respawn and each of the crabs will have a chance of spawning as its rare variation.

What I did to farm this was to first obtain an addon like NPCtime which shows how long an npc has been active for and then teleport to the island using time-lost-artifact in WM on. If the zone freshly loads of even has only been up for a few minutes I would do a circuit of the island and was usually able to find at least one rare. Once done I would visit the small inn tent to turn WM off and try again. In all it took me 101 attempts for the pet to drop with over 80 of these attempts being in a single month.

Easily one of the most tedious rares to farm - with the widest possibility of random spawn points everywhere in the water. It took me about 85 tries and some deleted addon data, so let's round it up to 100 tries.

What helped me was - the new update that when no one is in the zone, no mobs are around so when you log on a dead shard, everything spawns anew.
Anglers fishing raft toy was the only option to travel if you are a non water walk class. It is faster than mount anyways.

I recently created an event to farm the crab. We had 35 people stationed at each crab spawn on timeless isle. Spawned the crab twice in ten minutes. Crab dropped. Traded it to everyone and they got credit on their achievement. Took an hour - took that long cuz I was assigning spots on discord. If I had to do the event again (I will), I'd pre-assign spots so it goes much faster). Highly recommend. Submitted a screenshot so you can see how many people were stationed at spawn points (you need 14 druids for the underwater spawn or people who ate the feast of the fishes from legion).

The current reset timer for Isla Intemporal appears to be 15-minutes. This means if the zone has been empty for that amount time, that particular shard/layer will reset the moment you reenter the zone. This can be a highly effective method for farming rares for ¿Me da otra bolsa, por favor?, opposed to the traditional camping method of every 30-60 minutes, especially on RP servers, War Mode and Chromie Time groups.
