For every ten seconds you remain drinking it, you'll grow larger in size. Once I drank all of it, my human paladin was as tall as a tauren. There's no visible buff icon for the effect, and it subsides quickly. Sadly, it seems you can only get the stuff from Tragoamargo Cebatruenos when you're on the daily quest Fuerza secreta de los Corazón Frenético.

Stack up to about 30 times ! When I tryed it, I was as tall as a giant! Really funny quest =) But the buff seems to stay for only 10 seconds :(

Confirmed that it stacks a lot of times, in the end my tauren on a mammoth nearly filled all of the alcohol-induced-widened screen.

Mounting up while under the effect of this does work and will not break the effect. A Gnome on a Mammoth with 30 stacks of this looks HUGE, would love to see the effects on a Tauren/Draenei.

And as confirmed above, the Ale is unavailable to those who picked the Oracles faction.

EDIT: If you switch from Frenzyheart to Oracles with this quest in your log, you will still be able to pick up the ale. Same restrictions apply.

The buff seems to last a bit longer than it used to, I was able to maintain the growth buff after vomiting whereas it would have worn off quickly before. Sadly, it is still much less than a minute (I would prefer like, 5 minutes). But I do have a nice set of photos to give an example of the sizes you can reach. The pics include these buffs: Thunderbrew's Hard Ale (max stacks), Elixir of Giant Growth, and Hallow's End Candy (hence the orange tinge):

Get huge, Q for Isle of conquest. When you get the Q, go in and everyone will be super amazed.

If you do it and go to EOS you can get out of the starter bubble too, but you'll get teleed back in if you try and go down off the platform.

Doesn't work in AB, I got auto shrunk as I tried to leave the building.

I think they recently nerfed the maximum size by a few notches, back then, I could overlook the trees with a male Tauren on a mammoth, now, my female Tauren isn't even twice as large as the tents in the camp...

I don't think its possible to do this anymore, I've never done it to begin with but I got curious and I'm trying to do this but I can't seem to get it right. I have the quest but it starts me with the strengthened brew and Thunderbrew doesn't say anything to me. =/

Just figured it out. Once you get the quest, you have to destroy the quest item then talk to thunderbrew

There was a Tauren on my server who, I think, used this frequently... along with the 'Grow' hex from Bom'bay in Sen'jin Village, a Gigantic Feast, Winterfall Firewater, and Bloodlust.
He'd grow large enough to stand in the middle of the street in Dal and reach both sides, and ended up being about half the height of the Violet Citadel.
He'd do it right in front of the north bank in Dal, then mount up on his mammoth and do a /mountspecial.

Many people DC'd when he moved.

The next few times he tried that, people spammed Baby Spice on him so he wouldn't grow any more.

Is there any way of getting more than one of these at once?

Edit: As it turns out, you can get more than one at a time by placing the item in your bank, then going back and getting another, and repeating until you are satisfied. Just remember that they only have a two day duration, so only do this when you plan to use them soon.

Small guide on how to get immensly large by using this beverage:

Be of honored or higher reputation with The Frenzyheart Tribe.
Be on the quest: Secret Strength of the Frenzyheart.
Have access to Jeeves or The Argent Pony Bridle.

Delete your existing Thunderbrew's Hard Ale and go to Grimbooze Thunderbrew in Sholazar Basin. Pop your Jeeves or The Argent Pony Bridle and talk to Grimbooze Thunderbrew, you'll then be able to get another Thunderbrew's Hard Ale from him, because you deleted your previous one.

Now, put your newly received Thunderbrew's Hard Ale in your bank through Jeeves or The Argent Pony Bridle. Proceed to talk to Grimbooze Thunderbrew again and pick up another Thunderbrew's Hard Ale, put it in your bank, etc. They stack to 20 and you can have as many as you like in your bank, but keep in mind that they only have a two days duration before they vanish from your inventory.

Now go to Dalaran or any other highly populated area, pick the Thunderbrew's Hard Ale up from your bank and pick a spot, start drinking and after 10 seconds, at the 20 second mark you get one size bigger, can stack to a total of 30 stacks. Drink another one till the next increasement and so on and so forth. If you don't watch it you might end up vomitting and thus, losing your current stack, it doesn't happen all the time though.

If you manage to keep your stacks, you can use it alongside with: Winterfall Firewater, Elixir of Giant Growth, Gigantic Feast, Heroism/Bloodlust and Soul Split: Evil! to get even larger.

Was a while ago I did this, but without any other buffs besides Thunderbrew's Hard Ale I managed to become larger than the alliance inn, in Dalaran.

Hope this helped anyone wondering how it was working. Feel free to correct me should I be wrong about anything.

Edit: This post is outdated and you no longer get larger by drinking this beverage. Shame.

For those who are having problems with the vomiting from being extremely drunk:

The spell casted which induces the vomit stun can actually be canceled out via the ESC key with no repercussion whatsoever. This prevents that annoying delay that could cause the hidden buff to expire, allowing you to drink to your heart's content!

Beware though, as the spell does take your Haste into account when it attempts to cast itself: You may want to swap out your haste gear. Also, even if you manage to stop them all, an (un)lucky string of Drunken Vomit spell procs could still result in the buff falling off.

If you are having trouble holding your ale make this macro:

/stopcasting
/use Thunderbrew's Hard Ale
The /stopcasting part will interrupt the Drunken Vomit so you only have to keep your finger over one button instead of escape as the poster above suggests.
And make sure you take all of your haste gear off, my haste-stacking shammy managed to cut down the Drunken Vomit cast time to 1 sec which was very hard to catch.

Edit: Add this to the macro to alert yourself when you need to start drinking again, to avoid losing the buff:

/timer 50
/timer play

This will start a 50 second timer everytime you drink, if you dont start drinking before the timer runs out, you will lose your size buff. I suggest you dont wait until the last second because a Drunken vomit will delay you.

I have tested this out today, the grow buff seems to last for roughly 30 seconds AFTER you're done drinking the last brew. Since each grow stack is applied each 10 sec of drinking, you want roughly to drink a new brew to keep it, every 15 seconds (to make room for a possible vomit proc). For me it allso seems that lowers the chance of the vomit thing.

Since 1 brew is 3 stacks you don't need more then 10-15 (depending if you get vomit or not) to get a full grow effect from the brew alone.

To test if any of your addons do this just type in "/in 5 /dance" If you dance in 5 seconds you can use this macro, otherwise AtlasLoot Enhanced is one addon that will enable this, very useful addon too.**

Well I got tired of having to move my mouse when getting Ale so here is yet another macro!

For this one target jeeves or your squire and then Grimbooze to set your target and last target. Then press your interact with target key (or interact with mouseover if you keep your mouse away from anyone) followed by this macro's key. These are the only two button you will need to press, but you can't just spam them you have to wait .2 seconds on Jeeves. Increase the .2 seconds in the macro if you are lagging or decrease it if you think your computer is fast enough (not likely). Using this macro I usually get 150 bottles with Jeeves and 45ish bottles with the squire, and I can read a book or watch TV while getting them.

Just tried it today! Worked like a charm! Remember to press ESCAPE to stop the vomit.

Oh man this is just TOO funny to stack. If you take out a multi passenger mount and have a partner sit in the enlarged mount, they will look hilarious sitting on the giant mount. Especially if they shrink with noggenfogger or something.

Besides the obvious use for this drink (being the center of attention), there are many others:

Climbing:
Have you ever encountered a cliff that you wish to climb but the incline is just barely too great? Drink some ale and you can magically step right over that tricky spot. I have used this to climb on top of Orgrimaar, up into the mountains of WSG (with the flag :P), on top of the alliance inn in Dalaran and on top of the inn and forge in Goldshire with ease.

Glitches:
Blizzard tried to fix the mount bug in patch 4.0.1, but it still works if you are good at it (this video shows the bug back in 3.3.3). By increasing your size with this ale you can use the mount bug anywhere there is some kind of overhang, no matter the height. My favorite place to use it is under Orgrimmar where you can drink to max size, mount up and jump through the floor by the bank.

Camera distance:
By increasing your size you also increase the maximum distance that your camera can zoom out to. This effect persists even after you have shrunk. This is very useful for taking screenshots of a large area. When i do this in Dalaran I can see pretty much the whole floating island when i zoom out all the way. This is also useful in battlegrounds, I can see what is going on everywhere in Arathi Basin while i am sitting at blacksmith.

Since 4.0.1 I noticed a slight change. If you sip another Ale while theres say 14 seconds left, it bumps the next one up to 34 seconds and you'll grow when it hits 30.

Just a warning to those who plan to use this item where it was clearly meant to be used (Dalaran): I was scolded by a GM the other day after two friends and I used this ale in Goldshire during the Hallows eve event. He was likely tipped off by the numerous noobs who reported three giant hackers. He started off the conversation with "Hey big guy" (lol) and proceeded to tell me that he has never seen anyone do this before and warned me not to use this ale in any major city or crowded area because it could crash the server! We then promptly took our freak show to Orgrimmar to literally stomp some horde. Anyways the GM said he recorded the fact that i was warned which made me wonder, can i be banned for using an ingame item?

Theres twenty a stack and its not Unique, so as stated, if you have a portable bank get like 5-10 stacks of this stuff and just keep it handy for the hell of it.

sadly the updates for cataclysm have removed the growing affect and the fun part of this item is now gone i tried it today it no longer works there is a slight chance that when u buy the disc and install it u will be able to again but i would think that item changes only happen in patches for the most part

im a dwarf sitting right next to grimbooze thunderbrew getting drunk on thunderbrews hard ale and im exactly the same size i started as, no matter how many, or how long i drink each brew my size stays exactly the same

No wonder they are losing so many subscribers.
They keep removing anything that is fun.
Aren't games supposed to be fun?
Gone are the days when you could release an angry Fleguard inStormwind, then they remove the ability to release sharks anywhere there's water, and now this?

Fix warlocks, druids, and nerf hunters and warriors.

The sad thing is that it may take them losing a lot more customers before they get the slightest clue.
