This is one of the rare low level blue's. In a year or so of farming sm for various items, and powerlevelling guildy's i have only obtained 1.

I was lucky, I got this on my first time to the SM Cathedral while doing the quest (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=1053) for the Black Menace (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6831). Equipped it, used it for the rest of the cathedral (I had a crap dagger and a not so great sword at the time), then when I was done, checked here and almost fell over when I saw how rare it was... There went my mount for a while longer... :(

For a leveling combat rogue, this makes for an amazing offhand. The 1.4 speed in combination with the damage proc will make for a decked-out mid-level rogue.

This also can be found in a Worn Junkbox. I just pickpocketed many Bloodscalp trolls in STV, and one box contained this dagger. It was the ~lvl 36-40 Bloodscalp trolls at the Ruins of Zul'Kunda at ~42,10

Sadly this does show enchants (Landslide for certain) when you transmog something into it. Was hoping it wouldn't :(

This just dropped for me on 2021-06-04 in Scarlet Monastery - US Horde Mal'Ganis. I've run SM now about 14,000 times and I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen it drop.

I know that it shares an appearance with Daga Ganchagarra from a Stonetalon Mountains quest, but I still thought I should mention that this does still indeed drop.

I will say that since the release of the Shadowlands prepatch, I have not seen a single epic BoE drop in Scarlet Monastery. Prior to this expansion, they did. I have gotten and posted about several BoE epics such as the Escudo Llamacráneos and others dropping, but not anymore. Now my quest is to figure out which classic dungeons actually still do drop BoE epics. I have submitted a bug report to Blizzard several times on this but it's still not fixed or maybe it isn't going to be.
