25/10/2011 a las 22:31
Fangs of the Father: Legendary Proc
Sombras del Destructor
: Increases your Agility by 17, stacking up to 50 times. Once you have acquired 30 stacks of Shadows of the Destoyer, each stack gained grants an increasing chance to trigger Fury of the Destroyer and cancel all stacks of Shadows of the Destroyer. Fury of the Destroyer immediately grants 5 combo points and causes your finishing moves to grant 5 combo points. Lasts 6 sec.
: No further information on it yet, but probably related to the cosmetic effect of unfurling wings.
We've known for a while that the weapon will have two earlier stages like the previous legendary did, but now there's some more information on them. Both of them also have procs:
Fauce del olvido
: Increases your Agility by 5, stacking up to 50 times.
Mandíbulas de reprensión
: Increases your Agility by 2, stacking up to 50 times.

Raid Lockout Changes Being Tested in Taiwan and Korea, Other Regions Someday
25/10/2011 a las 22:12
So in Taiwan and Korea lockout timers are going to be adjusted to reset twice a week--the interesting news is that these may come to other regions at some point. This is a pretty significant change in store, though they do not have a time frame yet for US or EU regions.
The new raid lockout changes for Taiwan and Korea adjust the lockout timers for the patch 4.0 and 4.2 raids. The lockout timers for these raids will now reset twice weekly instead of once. These raid lockout changes are being made to allow players to raid more often and get more chances at epic loot drops. Players will be able to down current Cataclysm raid bosses twice a week, accelerating players\u2019 progression.
We are testing these new raid lockout changes in Taiwan and Korea first. Our goal is to expand this change to other regions in the future, but we don\u2019t have anything further to announce at this time with regard to North American implementation.
News Round Up: Guild Services, Mists of Pandaria Talents, and More
25/10/2011 a las 14:55
A lot of news following the aftermath of BlizzCon. We've also got a cool contest coming up that I just got into today--it should launch before the end of the week, so be on the lookout for it!
Guild Services: Relocation, Faction Changes & Name Changing
We are in the process of adding new guild services that will make relocating to a new realm, switching factions, or changing your guild name easier than ever before. Relocating your guild to a new realm or faction with this new service will keep your guild structure intact, including the guild leader, guild bank, ranks, and guild name (depending on availability). You won't even need to pack.
Guild members who decide to relocate with their guild may initiate their own paid character transfer. Upon a successful transfer they will automatically be part of the guild when they first log into the new realm. Their guild rank and guild reputation will be intact.
Guild leaders who do not want a change of scenery may also choose to pick a new guild name using another new service.
As a part of the process for adding these new services, we are launching on a single realm (Illidan-US) to perform additional t
BlizzCon 2011: Exclusive Interview with Dave Kosak, WoW Lead Quest Designer
23/10/2011 a las 15:38
Saturday afternoon, I was fortunate enough to get a one-on-one interview with Dave Kosak, WoW Lead Quest Designer, before his Lore and Story Q&A. Ashelia and I brainstormed some questions together before I sat down with Dave. During the interview, I made sure to ask him about some of our favorite--and least favorite--questing experiences, as well as how they were handling phasing and truly epic questlines in Mists of Pandaria. I hope you enjoy reading the summarizes of his responses--he shared details unreleased at BlizzCon such as a potential new MoP faction, the Lorewalkers!
We were also able to attend a group Q+A with J. Allen Brack and Jay Wilson about World of Warcraft and Diablo III. We've got the all the answers under the break--some of the information was already covered in other panels, so be sure to check our full coverage for details.
Exclusive Interview with Dave Kosak
Q: It's always been a struggle to make players feel like they truly impact the world. How are you showcasing this in MoP? Do the zones progress and change depending on questlines? What about phasing?
A:One thing we always struggle with--is we have this tool, phasing, but a large problem is that it separates players easily. Phasing, as I
BlizzCon 2011: Mists of Pandaria Talent Calculator, Today's Panels, and More
22/10/2011 a las 14:57
Today was another huge day, so we have combined this post into a day two guide--nothing was quite big enough to stand out on its own.
However, we have some pretty big news here at Wowhead. All weekend, we had a huge focus on Mists of Pandaria, and our team manned up and worked overtime on a special project.
Even though the new talents are going to be changed and retooled, we have built an initial version of a Mists of Pandaria talent calculator! This was just a huge team effort, pretty much everyone worked very hard on it. Thanks everyone for putting in overtime during BlizzCon weekend just to get a visual representation of the contents.
Visit the Mists of Pandaria Talent Calculator.
Oh, and Noxy was also awesome and drew a comic about her feelings about Mists of Pandaria. She thinks you might find it similar to other games on the market...
Mists of Pandaria Talents & Talent Calculator
As we said above, we made a Mists of Pandaria Talent Calculator! Check it out and le
BlizzCon 2011: Contest Winners and BlizzCon Photographs
22/10/2011 a las 00:27
We had an awesome first day at BlizzCon 2011. From covering the action as it unfolded to watching the costume contest later, it was all a blast. ZAM's network director Mike took some great photos for us that basically show some of the festivities. We've also got some Blizzard blue posts, including the much awaited contest winners! Miyari was going to liveblog that, but unfortunately she ran into some technical issues.
Remember, if you want to read up about Mists of Pandaria, look no further than over here--we have more information for tomorrow, but that's the miniguide we wrote up as well as all the panels covered for the day!

Cheat Sheet for Mists of Pandaria
Rather than force you to sift through liveblogs and official previews, Perculia and Ashelia have broken down exactly what is coming with Mists of Pandaria. Find out what's happening, what you'll be doing, and more with this first peak cheat sheet we've included right here at the top of the post.
And, of course, Perculia got some immediate hands-on time with the starting zone. Word on the street is that she rolled around a lot and had a blast--but maybe you should read her actual preview below!
Pandarens and Pandaria
Leveling in Pandaria
Pandaria has been shrouded in a mist. The alliance and horde wash up on the shores of Pandaria during a naval battle. They immediately want it for their own for the war--so they are going to destroy the pandaren to get its resources!
I was able to test out most of the starting zone in the press room--here's my thoughts!
BlizzCon 2011: Opening Ceremony

We have our team at BlizzCon down in Anaheim and some of us are watching the stream at home. We're bringing you the latest and liveblogging the opening ceremony plus the World of Warcraft panels. Since this is the first BlizzCon without leaks, this should be a pretty huge opening--it's confirmed there will be a new expansion for World of Warcraft, but it also looks like there will be tons of new other announcements.
Make sure to join in the discussion here in this post as if you're watching along on the stream.

4.3 Preview: Yor'sahj the Unsleeping and Ultraxion Dragon Soul Coverage
20/10/2011 a las 00:59
We have a long weekend coming; BlizzCon is finally here and our huge party is about to go down. But today I was able to hop on the PTR to test and kill Yor'sahj the Unsleeping and Ultraxion on 25-player mode! They are fairly easy fights, just how a normal 25-man fight should be. I imagine that Yor'sahj in particular will be incredibly tough on heroic as some of his combinations were hard even on normal.

Public Test Realm Patch 4.3 Notes: Dragonwrath Nerfed
18/10/2011 a las 12:56
There's some new PTR changes today that affect both PvP and PvE. For PvPers, it seems many classes have received buffs to abilities like
that reduce healing received on enemy targets. For raiders in Firelands,
Dragonira, el Reposo de Tarecgosa
is being nerfed--which makes sense as it's currently a 'must-have' item for every caster. In its current state, it could remain a defining weapon across later tiers and cause balancing issues, much like
Val'anyr, Martillo de los antiguos reyes
was still incredible in Icecrown Citadel for Paladins.
