Don't Buy Gold!
20/10/2009 a las 17:10
fewynHey everyone! I'm fewyn. Some of you may know me as one of the WoW guys from ZAM or the #wowhead IRC channel, and I'll be cross-posting news from ZAM here to make sure everyone has up to the minute news coverage!\r
Recently Eyonix made a post stating some reasons why buying gold is bad and effects everyone. According to Blizzard, an alarmingly high majority of the gold comes from hacked accounts, and a lot of players these days know at least one person who has been hacked and knows how devastating it can be to a player. A lot of these people have been compromised by either getting keyloggers or using power-leveling services, and then being hacked months later. According to Eyonix, they also make baby murlocs cry.\r
Blizzard has also created an informational page on this whole subject which you can view here.\r

Get it? It's a spoiler!Do not read this blog if you do not wish to learn about spoilers!\r
Ladies and gentlemen, more spoilers!\r
So, apparently the first quest in the Shadowmourne quest-line was obtainable by players upon zoning into the Icecrown Citadel Raid instance on the PTR, and one of the objectives was completable. The first objective of the quest is to obtain Arthas' old mace, Light's Vengeance, from Frostmourne Cavern in Dragonblight. Seems like an easy task, but there's a surprising setback that you need a few friends to help you out with can overcome solo if you're an overpowered class. I am excited to see the progress of the Shadowmourne quest-line as it progresses on the PTR, even though I don't play an axe wielding class. This patch just seems to be oozing with lore, and I can't seem to get enough!

Gear Check: Razer Naga MMO Gaming Mouse + Megasoma Mousing Surface!
19/10/2009 a las 02:02
Greetings Wowhead denizens! You may remember a few months ago I got my hands on some sweet Razer gaming peripherals and was able to give them a go and share my opinions with the rest of you. Back then we were looking at the Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard, the Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse, and the Razer Destructor Precision Gaming Surface. I enjoyed using all of the products, and still use the Lycosa and Destructor to this day - anyone who has caught me on Team Fortress 2 or in our #Wowhead IRC channel has probably heard my blathering on about how much I love my Lycosa. Razer's new additions are no exception to the quality and performance I have come to expect from their products. Their latest offerings include the Razer Megasoma\u2122 Professional Gaming Mouse Mat, a sleek, hybrid silicon mousepad that combines the best of both worlds and (most importantly) Razer'
Hallow's End Achievements Bug
18/10/2009 a las 22:27
Just picked this up from the official forums. Watch out, all you achievement mavens!\r
We are currently experiencing an issue with the Hallow's End candy buckets that is affecting the Trick or Treat Achievements for this event. Certain candy buckets in Northrend, once looted, are preventing characters from looting some of the Candy Buckets required for the Trick or Treats of Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor and Outlands. The current way to work around this is to get the candy buckets from Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Outland before doing any in Northrend. \r
Note, doing the Achievements first will prevent some of the Northrend Candy Buckets from being intractable. \r
We are actively working on a resolution for this and will provide more information when it is available.\r
