Time for a bit of
nostalgia
to feed your addiction. As if it's possible to play World of Warcraft or visit Wowhead without becoming an addict.
Who got you into WoW?
I remember my best e-friend named Shawn. We came from
Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided
, also heavy
Counter-Strike
players in intermediate gaming leagues (2v2 and 5v5). He introduced me to WOW when he got in the beta. I checked the website and said, "That thing looks corny, and I don't think it's exciting at all. The story sounds good, but..." Oh, how little did I know. I was addicted as soon as
Maraudon
came out...
What was your first character? Why on Azeroth did you pick
that
class? For me I picked a druid because a couple of my friends were picking rogues or hunters. Shawn's logic was that if I were a druid I could tank as a bear or heal so our group would always be capable of working together. We ended up with two hunters, a paladin, a druid, and a warrior. I thought I was the coolest because I could transform into a seal, bear, or cat. Eventually we went our separate ways, stopping to help each other with hard quests or PVP. Thinking back I remember my first PVP encounter--and my first "kill on sight" guild: Mortis Consortium.
What was your first PVP experience like?
Since I've got you all mixed up in nostalgia think about these questions:
When did you start playing? Do you still play? Would you change things if you could go back?
