15/06/2016 a las 12:43
Legion brings us many new and shiny things! This includes new UI improvements and polishing coming in the
expansion pre patch
. In this article we will go over most of the improvements, some big and some small and some quality of life improvements as well. We will also go over some that most of you already know about as well as some little things you probably didn't know of! Let's get right into it then.
Collections & Wardrobe
Wardrobe UI will have many features. Such as collecting Armor and Weapons that you are able to equip.
Tabs include Helm, Shoulders, Cloak, Chest, Shirt, Tabards, Bracers, Gloves, Belt, Pants, Shoes, Main Hand Weapon, and Offhand.
The UI also shows you all obtainable Transmog and where they can be obtained.
You are also able to make Outfits in this new UI. Save an outfit and visit a transmogger to quickly swap between outfits.
Under the collections tabs for pets and mounts, if you are gifted/purchase/recieve an item from the shop or during an event, it will show up as a gift box.
Travel, World Map, & Mini Map
Flight Path Maps received an update. They now look much more cleaner and crisper.
Flight paths show an animation of the path that will be taken before you select your destination.
Undiscovered Flight paths are much more noticeable.
You are able to zoom into the Flight path map and see World Quests in the area of the Flight path you wish to take.
Rares or Events show up as a star on the minimap instead of a skull.
Grayed out items on a minimap indicate that they are on a different level from you. An arrow until the item shows if the level is up or down.
If you hover over a quest that is in a cave, it will highlight the cave entrance on your map.
You can also see the world better with the view distance increased dramatically.
Combat & Character Pane
The nameplates have been updated to look much more cleaner and far easier to read.
Nameplates also show buffs and timers more clearly as well as in and out of combat stacking.
While in combat you have your health and resources now displayed under your character in a new hud.
Scroll combat text is also much more crisp. The numbers also move based on the enemies position. If you are running away numbers will appear in the bottom left hand corner.
Targeting circles around your target will properly display a pointer, indicating where your target is facing.
Quest mobs will also appear with a yellow/golden circle.
Stats pane have been updated and simplified.
Dungeon & Honor Panes
When in the PvP pane you will always see your honor progression bar.
New to Legion you now have a talent tree for PvP talents much like your normal talents.
With Mythic+ Dungeons, your best times for the week display.
Quality of Life & Misc Improvements
Bosses that have loot for you will now glow much more brightly.
Achievements have a search bar.
Glyphs are added through your spellbook. Will be indicated with a purple marker and a tooltip when you hover over the ability.
Professions Panes has been slightly updated to show more and a better way to see unlearned items.
While out in the world, important dialog will show up with the image of whose speaking to you in a box at the bottom of your screen. An homage to the original Warcraft games.
When leveling you will have an artifact power bar that displays how much power you need for your next trait. At max level your experience bar will go away but the artifact power bar will stay.
Talents and Specs are one click relearn. However talents require either a special item or a rested area in order to swap.
"Ultra" mode lets you see further into the distance.
Action Camera is a new camera mode that makes allows a more fluid movement of your camera and target lock on.
Other UI Changes
While "View Distance" has been increased, "Camera Distance" has been decreased. You can no longer use the console command to increase your camera distance past the slider's point.
Hide Helm and Hide Cloak can now only be changed via a transmogger, no longer in the Interface Option.
