New Models on the PTR

So Patch 3.3 is up on the PTRs, as the
Blog
has been covering for the past week or so.
In our excitement, we've been digging through the model files in our PTR client, trying to find some interesting stuff. We decided to plug them into our
3D model viewer
, so you guys could play with them too!
Join us after the break to see Jaina Proudmoore's new model, as well as Shadowmourne and Quel'Delar, in full 3D! Now there are a lot of models that aren't represented here—we're just digging through them for now. But we'll have posts up soon for T10, as well as many others. :)
Bear in mind that many of these models are incomplete or unfinished, and not all models are represented here—we're still digging. Also, don't forget there are two versions of the model viewer, a Flash version and a high quality Java version. The Flash version is solid and dependable and works on almost all browsers and operating systems. The Java version takes advantage of OpenGL 3D acceleration, and even displays
animations
for NPCs and certain items—but Java is temperamental, and will have trouble on some browsers.
Also, remember that these models don't have corresponding database pages yet—in a lot of cases, we don't know what they are yet. You can, though, just copy/paste the URL in the browser to link someone to any 3D model we've posted!
