Observer Yorik Hotfixed with Longer Respawn Time

Observer Yorik is no longer your best friend as he seems to have a much longer respawn time now.
Observer Yorik Hotfixed
Many players have made best friends with Observer Yorik earlier today, but he seems to have been hotfixed and now has a much longer respawn time. It appears Blizzard didn't enjoy this
new farming system
that players were using.
It's unclear now exactly how long it'll take Observer Yorik to farm, but the rep or currency per hour in Korthia has massive decreased.
From my point of view, many of these players that were farming Yorik were either alts or players who were trying to finally reach Tier 6 because they didn't enjoy the content. I understand that this wasn't directly intended, but I can't help but think that this grind actually helped players engage with the content that has already been out for a while. These players were using Yorik to get Conduits and sockets, things that aren't very easily acquired somewhere else, and things that that help them min-max -- a core feature that many players enjoy in World of Warcraft for this day and age.

But a lot of what goes into 9.1.5 isn’t a one-off. It’s a reflection of us changing a lot of the underlying philosophies that have motivated our approach to designing WoW. A lot of these things, like I mentioned regarding conduit energy, are outgrowths of lessons that were taught to us by our predecessors, by the founders and the leaders of the team, about the importance of meaningful choice, the importance of preserving character investment, that may have led to us not being friendly to alt gameplay and people’s ability to get caught up on their alts. The reality is, the way people play the game has evolved. What was the right answer for the WoW player base and for the game 15 years ago may not be today. There’s some stubbornness, but clinging to those old lessons, some things are hard to let go of when your training and your education as a designer and a developer on the team led to having these things instilled in you.
People are going to take the path of least resistance for things that they don't want to do. I personally think that these players were doing this in order to play the game they want to play -- gearing up multiple characters and min-maxing them or finishing a grind on their main character in order to participate in end-game content. For the players that don't want to play this way, the remainder of Korthia was still there, many rares that still spawned, many achievements to earn and treasure to find. However, this hotfix even affects other players now as when you use your Rift Key (a limited resource), you no longer are guaranteed to find Observer Yorik which is needed for the
This Observer Yorik farm was clearly unintended and are justified in nerfing it, as getting all these rewards for pressing 1 button every minute was a little much, but maybe this hotfix should've come with compensation in another way for people who were unable to farm it this afternoon, such as an decreased respawn time on other rares to help people not feel as bad about it.
But there are numerous other changes that went live with Patch 9.1.5 which massively increase the amount of rep and currency you can get with Korthia farming, it just obviously still involves doing Korthia which is an activity that some people don't enjoy.
The Research Reports (item upgrades) and Treatise items (bonus drops in 9.0 content) are now available for purchase account wide if a character on their account has reached the appropriate reputation Tier.
Players at Tier 6 can now purchase the item “Research Report: Relic Examination Techniques”, a new bind-on-account item they can send to an alt to increase the reputation granted by Relics and Relic Fragments by 50%.
The quest “Relic Efficiency” offered at Tier 4 now also increases the average number of Relics that will show up as bonus drops from rares and treasures as well as how many relics show up on daily quests or in weekly reward chests. This is in addition to the current reward of a 20% chance to receive double the normal Relic Fragment drops from rares and treasures.
Added two new quests, “Relic Clues” at Tier 3 which starts the bonus at an initial 10% chance at double Relic Fragments, and “Relic Hunter” at Tier 5 that will set the final chance for double relics at 40%. Both of these new quests will also increase the average number of relics you will see as bonus drops, on daily quests or in weekly reward chests.
Korthia rares now have a chance to drop Relics on repeat kills (was a daily lockout for a chance at Relics).
More Relic carrying enemies can be found in Korthia with the All-Seeing Crystal.
Trained Gromit now locates more relic caches.
A new weekly quest, “Lost Research”, will be available to characters at Tier 4 with the Archivists’ Codex or on alts with a Tier 4 character on the account. This new quest will direct players into the Korthian Rift and reward a large amount of Archivists’ Codex reputation and Cataloged Research.
Enemies in Korthian Rifts now drop stolen Relic Fragments and a chance at Relics.
