Leather agi can then be marked as both DPS and Tank gear, and other tanks won't be able to roll on them because they can't use plate. Problem solved.

YAY! I'll never loose my Agi Staff to a druid tank again!
I cant imaging that they didn't factor this in somehow. It seems pretty obvious that this would be a concern.
I don't see the leather-agi items being a problem since that's what druidtanks are expected to use so those will definatly be flagged for both tank and dps, what I'm a bit concerned about is how they will handle rings and especially trinkets seeing as how in firelands an agility dpstrinket was actually BiS rather than the tanking trinkets we're expected to use. and yah overall armouritems should be a no brainer but the off items will be trickier since they're not always a straight cut.
It says they're not taking spec into account--just role. I wonder if that means that DPS druids (either balance or feral) or shaman (either enhancement or elemental) will get a bonus to all Need rolls. Other than healing trinkets, pretty much anything that's appropriate for any druid or shaman spec is appropriate for one of their two DPS specs.
Chromatic Dragon looks like a gold version of Mushu.

so what if a neck piece drops with critical strike and expertise would that be a tank or dps piece or a one-handed axe that has hit and haste on it?
By the way, guys, I've been going through the files from the latest patch, and it looks like the Fangs of the Father quest will take you to the ruins of Gilneas and the place underneath Karazhan, as well as crashing some Dalaran party, according to Fahrad and Wrathion.Oh, and uh, Fahrad is-- Well, nevermind, I probably shouldn't spoil it here.
