I am VERY excited with this panel. I think scaling zones is a really good idea. I've always left that questing was a tad linear. Get quests from this hub, go to this mini hub, finish the quests in this mini hub return to main hub. Main hub sends you to next zone, fly or ride to next zone to start completing quests awarding appropriate level experience/rewards. Additionally, so many dungeons to start out with. In previous expansions its been first level 1 opens, next level another opens. Excited to see happening as I level.
The Broken Isles game play of scaling the world to your level sounds extremely complex but will be a monumental change if it works appropriately. Removing barriers to playing with your friends at any level will enhance the multiplayer feel of the game and hopefully help to bring back a little more of a community feel to the game world experience. It remains to be seen whether the variety and multitude of Broken Isles endgame objectives will feel overwhelming or be a welcome change to daily/weekly world objectives. The changes to Challenge Modes in Legion sound promising. I like the idea of scaling the difficulty up rather than scaling the player down and really focusing on encounter mechanics.
The Val'sharah zone is absolutely beautiful. I love that Blizzard is getting back to the Emerald Nightmare. The effect of the nightmare on Shaladrassil is depicted very well and the Nightmare dragon models are amazing. I can't wait to delve further into the lore of this zone in-game. I greatly look forward to the Emerald Nightmare raid. Suramar is also very intriguing. The Nightborne art and lore is breathtaking. Raiding the Suramar Palace will be visually stimulating. I am glad that Blizzard appears to be bringing back the epic expansive feel of the Burning Crusade to the raiding scene. And I'm glad that dungeons will have stronger story line integration, which was a large part of what I enjoyed from Wrath of the Lich King.
Azsuna and Suramar are probably going to be my favorite zones, simply because of the aesthetics and design. And the designs of the Nightborne and Nightfallen are awesome. Can't wait to get there!
Thanks for the information!
Moonkin updates will be awesome :D
really like the scaling part, it will be great to lvl with lower or higher lvl friends :)CMs also sound great, looking forward to see the rewards
Did I read correctly that we'd be fighting Cenarius?
Love the vision they have for Challenge Modes, I can't wait to be tanking them!
So anxious to try demon hunter but after that if I don't like it I'll stick to my druid once again :)
So excited for demon hunter :) Also artifacts look great
I think Blizz learned a lot over the years. I love the scaling aspect because I am slow leveller and my friends are often ahead of me. This way I get the best of both worlds :).The environment is amazing - Suramar looks awesome. I was wondering when the dark elves were going to come into the game.... :D
WOW! tHe only thing I can say: WOW! Can't wait...
I am interested to see how the scaling works in legion and how we can do zones in what ever order we choose but can't wait!
I don't know why but I'm really getting a Vanilla mixed with WotLK vibe from the zones, I'm loving them.
The zones looked beautiful.
Legion will be probably the best expansion Blizzard ever delivered :D
Looks AMAZING
