One second cooldown on Disengage? Liiiiiiittle bit skeptic about that one...
Holy Paladins look great with auras returning and other stuff but I am little bit worried about their master, they are punting allot of emphasis on it. It seems that we going to be in melee alot with LoD being cone again, tanks dps being in melee and "Crusader's Might" Of course there is talent to counter this "Beacon of the Lightbringer" But this talent is so strong other talents are not even worth look at unless it is a stacked fight. And being in melee is bad if encounter sees you as a ranged.I know its a still an early build and not everything is out yet and I don't have a beta but that's how I feel right now.
"Rebirth: Now Instant.Revive: Now Restoration only. Returns the spirit to the body, restoring a dead target all dead party members to life with 35% of maximum health and mana. Not castable in combat."So IN or OUT of combat, as a feral I can now rez out of combat by choosing to use a 10min CD meant-to-be-battle-rez. Only resto can Revive all players. Revive is the out-of-combat rez and targets all dead, but it's ONLY resto, and my feral is a 10min CD. Am I missing something? Is the guild perk Mass Res going to have no CD applied when the res is taken? I absolutely do not understand taking away my ability to rez more than one person per 10 minutes.
I was super excited about playing my Shadow Priest main in Legion and it seemed like every new bit of info since Blizzcon got me more and more pumped. Then I read this....thing....this morning and now that excitement has been replaced with grieving for the hole in my life that will be left when I quit this game after I finish up this raid tier. While I loved what the new level 100 talents brought to shadow in terms of gameplay in Warlords of Draenor, I despised many of the spell changes (my Halo isn't a dps/aoe heal combo cooldown anymore?) and the loss of so many utility spells that made the Shadow Priest feel so versatile in Cataclysm and MoP (despite never being within 1000 light-years of being OP). I also thought the change to our mastery, while it complimented the CoP talent very well, was really boring in its design. Long story short (too late!), I liked a few of the changes that WoD brought, but I have spent most of the expansion trying to wash down the jagged pill that I tried to swallow only to have it get stuck in my throat. I went into all of that for one reason: Legion looks like a repeat of the experience I had with WoD but taken to the 10th power. Now if it was just a matter of no longer feeling anything for Shadow or the Priest class in general, I could endure that since after all it might be fun to reroll and find a new class/spec to fall in love with and make it my new 'main'. Only, I didn't just read the notes for the Priest class, I read the changes for *all* of the classes, and let me tell you, it wasn't easy to get through! I realize now that it's not just my DPS spec that has lost all of it's previous utility/self-heals, it's pretty much all of them. So now, if you're a DPS, you will no longer be burdened with the overwhelming number of 'distractions' (read: choices, i.e., party/raid utility, crowd control, survivability, etc.), distractions being anything other than just pew pew pew. So Blizzard obviously wants to make the distinctions between DPS, Healers', and Tanks' playstyles as rigid as possible. I guess, for me, this current team of developers just do not 'get' what gamers like me love(d) about this game in the first place. They are moving in a direction that may be great for other types of gamers and those who are new to WoW, but it has wandered too far away from its roots for my taste. I guess I'm just getting old. =pWhy did I waste the last 15 minutes writing this novel in the first place? Methinks I need to work on managing my free time more constructively...
So now blood DK's have to just hope there aren't more than 1 ranged mob because the only ranged ability we now have is deathgrip, yes i know about taunt but that doesn't generate threat
I don't get why so many people think Outlaw Rogue is forced to be a pirate. The ship is a talent, you will not have to pick it, and sorry, but I fail to see any connection whatsoever between dices and pirates. Gambling is something dry-land outlaws are known for doing.
Awesome.
The whole spiel is a 'work in progress' as they're showing c**p benefits to new versions & have changed spec. use & kept some of the old spec. options in the tooltips. looks like a good few builds to go before we can give any concrete credence to what we're gonna get next Summer.Patience, we require; hmmm?
Not having a stun breaker might take some getting used to but I'm loving the changes on death knight and warlock. Though I can't wait to try them all out.
This looks like a complete change in how classes will be played, and I like it! They are aiming for bigger distinction between how each class/spec feels to play. All the complaints I see boil down to:"You are removing something from how the game used to be played, i want to push the same buttons forever""Nerf!/Op!, with no frame of reference as the new skills and numbers don't even exist yet"This is the character and feel setting time in the release. The details really don't mean anything yet.
Affliction lock looks pretty good, but with the degree of changes it's hard to get a definitive feel on things. Is it known yet when the beta site (or even just the talent calculator) will be up so we can more easily check spell lists and compare competing talents?
i dont see titans grip up there but i do see SMF so it makes mt kind of worried
Finally! Volley makes a return for hunters! YASSSSSS!
My favorite change is how Warriors will literally be able to jump to Halls of Valor.Guess they eat only Taco Bell now.
Don't give up just yet. You still have PvP Talents, Set Bonuses, Beta Revisions and Artifact Traits that will shape utility and overall gameplay. At least hold on until you see the Release Candidate in Spring/Summer. You never know. :) Maybe you've just changed... perhaps start tanking or healing? You might like it. Changing specs is easier in Legion and the diversity might help you settle back in.
