I hope will be more relevant again with these changes, but looking at the math I think the buff to and the nerf to cancel each other out and making as 'strong' as it has been in Legion.
Mastery was so bad in legion for bdk, hope it stays the same cuz i don't want another class to focus on mastery...

It is weaker without any mastery and massively more potent once you have a decent amount of mastery\r\rthe minimum healing is much lower and it requires +44% mastery (a total of 60% shielding) to break even with the old 10% hp concept\r\rHowever the max healing breaks even at +20%( a total of 36% shielding) and it starts to snowball like crazy from here on.
So far all I've seen about class changes are nerfs and different spell descriptions, to make BFA look like something new. But it is just another Legion 2.0 with world quests, mythic+ and azerite power system (the same as artifact power).

Instead of reinventing the wheel, they are taking the tire off the rim and calling it new.
Focuses dark power into a strike that deals (46.4256% of Attack power) Physical damage and heals you for 30%25% of all damage taken in the last 5 sec,\rHeads up, death strike is 20% on legion (24% if you count artifact traits) it was 30% on BfA until a recent build that made it 25%
the base of death strike was nerfed which a indirect nerf to blood shield, blood shield was buff to make it not a nerf so blood shield is actually unchanged just DS got nerfed.
Of all the things which irk me, is the changing places of talents in a single row, while the talents themselves in that row are still the same from the Legion.\rBasically, place swap of talents in a single row and nothing more because... why? Just so that it looks different and is "new"?\rBlizzard, that is... sad...

Just so that it looks different and is "new"?\rBlizzard, that is... sad...\r\rThe idea is to arrange the rows from simplest choice to more complicated ones. That's why passive talents largely exist in the left most slot, and active ones on the right. Of course, there are some exceptions (and not everyone will agree what constitutes "simple" or "complicated"), but there is a general thought process behind it, aside from wanting to create the appearance of change.

Sounds good to me - I'm all about passives in my old age. lol.
As a quick heads-up, the summary for the Lava Burst change implies that it can't crit at all without Flame Shock, and that it only has a chance to crit with Flame Shock on the target, which seems to be at odds with the spell description, which itself says Lava Burst will always crit if Flame Shock is on the target, and doesn't seem to mention anything about it affecting crit chance without Flame Shock active.
According to Blizz: they dont want to focus on secondary stats so heavily like in legion. In a nutshell--> they want people to equip the highest itemlevel gear as possible and do not hesitate to calculate the secondary stats... Let us hope it will be done this way. It is much comfortable for everyone :)
I am still so undecided on what I want to main through BFA.... &*!@ mannnnn $%^& mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
