This will really help the pack rats among us... Myself included.
Useful, but the Expulsom should be sellable. So us casuals can make money off of people wanting to spam level-up their gear for the raids.
Probably find ital drop different mats to enchanting, as there's still the disenchantment function. If not then possibly yeild lower quantities than if you'd disenchanted the items
hm, I know the article is about the scrapper but my eye was drawn to another line. so jewelcrafters are making staves? a change from inscription during wod. not that I'm annoyed one way or another but it's interesting.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that means as a scribe, I will not be able to generate Expulsom (a BoP material) unless I scrap the gear I get from quests/random drops. Just need to hope I get lucky with drops, or rely on an alt to craft me gear to scrap. Meaning I can't really farm for my profession, using my profession. Unlike a BS who can spam craft and scrap a bucket load of bracers and get what they need by only relying on Mining for the ore really.Even alchemists get a transmute to create Expulsom (probably on a cooldown though).I was hoping to get in the business of Darkmoon Cards, but they actually need Expulsom to make. Am I missing something here or is this not going to be as big of an issue as i think it seems?
So everyone can now disenchant?
....So, it's the equivalent of FF Desynthesis?Sounds cool.
Scribes can get Expulsion from disassembling their Off-hands. Scribes make Off-hands and JCs make staffs now. Everyone is NOT a disenchanter. Scrapper breaks gear into materials for crafting. If anything this is good for enchanters as it will drastically increase the price for enchanting mats and enchants. Less gear for DEing = less enchanting mats = increase cost for dusts, shards, and enchants.
Alchemists seem to be one of the few professions that don't get to use the Scrapper at all if it doesn't take any consumables. The only non-consumable Alchemy can craft are its trinkets, which all cost Expulsom already (even the crappy green ones!). Oh well, Blizzard never thinks to make Alchemists fun, apparently making potions and flasks is already too strong to get any fun elements included.Alchemy has a Expulsom transmute, but 5 per day on a cooldown is quite different to being able to practically "farm" it.
This will make enchanting materials more valuable while decreasing the value of other crafting materials except herbs. It can give you ore, cloth, jewels.Mining going to have hard time with this.
The UI Reminds me of the Horadric Cube.. ahh the good old days :')
Cheap greens? I haven't seen cheap greens since transmogging became a thing. I've never bought things off the AH to DE. Buts its true, this will hurt enchanters since I do send greens to my enchanter from alts. Give you something to think about, maybe an enchanter isn't the best profession to raise.
Sweet, I'll finally not be forced to get enchanting on all of my characters!
Wish blizz would stop making BoP crafting mats.
