People forget about the difference between LFG and Arenas \/ BGs. One is PVE with pretty much from the start to the finish, enemy mobs are scripted and depends on your gear, you can cheese through a lot of mechanics or kill things before even they have a chance to do any mechanics. PvP, on the other hand is simply just that, against another Player. While having better gear has its advantages in PvP but skill level is what makes the difference.\r\rI would rather wait for an 11 mins Q for random H on my DPS to get it done in 10 - 15 mins, rather than wait for half hour or longer to get into a group of geared players like me and we finish it in 7 - 10 mins.
Nawwwwwwwwww, Blizzard looking after the teams at the LAN. That's so nice :).\r\rHopefully next year the Chinese teams will now have a more direct route to getting US Visas... in Australia we can get Passports at short notice but its more expensive I believe, the average is like a 13 week wait. If team members don't have their passports set up, this could be an issue if there is no express route in China for passports. Though, in terms of Visas, most countries can get them pretty quick. But flights are also very expensive from China to US, ur looking at 1700 USD for a flight (from shanghai to columbus... and that's from a capital airport, it would be another few hundred likely if your from a smaller city because you would have to get an extra stopover ). Those are at short notice (a month) flights. Months earlier it would be cheaper, but the way the competition works makes this hard. It's possible that maybe Blizzard should buy tickets for all the top teams... because say for example if you buy a ticket 3 months early its only 900 USD compared to 1700, that's a big difference. Blizzard would be able to refund the tickets if the players do not get into the finals, and offer the cheaper tickets to the players that entered into the LAN. This could be a thing also for Australian teams, whom are also looking at prices like that (though a little better but similar in a lot of cases).\r\rThis LAN location worldwide (such as Shanghai), is something I think should be offered around the world for players to help with internet disconnections. Also could be nice to have a camera there after each team competes. So we can see the teams as they grow towards the LAN and make it even more thrilling. Imagine the hype at watching a team grow for months :), kind of like the World Cup :). Interviews with sexy WoW boys :3.
