I am missing the single stat affixes from crafted gear, their prices was very good... blizzard...
I really like the idea of the Scrapper for players who primarily play the economy when they play WoW. The only bad thing is if your server’s AH has a limited supply of materials and you don’t have the time to farm materials to craft gear to scrap yourself, then your hands are kind of tied and it becomes virtually inaccessible. I wish there was a way to counter this issue. I guess it just means you must submit your entire life over to wow in order to be even 10% competitive on the market for certain realms. Sounds like something wow is good at making people do. Obviously I just need to transfer, sigh
Levelling a profession feels like a waste of time and gold at the moment, which is really unfortunate. You would earn more gold if you simply sold the raw materials and would have few disadvantages because the end products sell for less than the sum of their parts - if they sell at all. The only opportunity this provides is to theorise if demand for certain items will increase and if it makes sense to invest in them now.I hope that Blizz decides to reduce the level of the craftables of implements ways of increasing their itemlevel to make professions attractive. Although blacksmithing has always felt hard to level for me BFA felt even harder, and the benefits are basically nonexistent.
Yeah the AH, G-bank,. Interacting with NPC, and almost everything effect me every day, In February i just got fed up with the crappy AH, at the time i ran 2 accounts, 1 for me to play on, the other for me to put 1200+ items on the AH, but well it really all started in October, at that time i could post the 1200+ items in under 30 min, then from one day to the other, it went from those 30 min to around 5 hours :/So i wrote ticket to blizzard, found no problem, i posted on forum, and more and more came and told they had the same problems, Blizzard did NOTHING, well the month went on, the problem did not disapere, i was ok they will soon address this, boy was i wrong, so February came, and i just had enough of that crap, so over the 13+ years i have been playing wow, i only had 1 real break, ofc some minors of a few days now and then, but this day i just did not log in, the next day the same, and so on, for almost 2 month, this was sorta unheard of for me, so in April i got a Alpha invite, and thought ah i give it a try (i did not unsubscribe on the accounts, still payed), Alpha was fine, but the damn Live still was so damn bad, and ofc the 1200+ items meanwhile had expired in the mailbox (TSM value was around 4 mill if they all would had been sold, some was rare items worth 100-300k other were just "junk" like 500g-2k each), but i did not care it was just items, but what i did care about was that all Blizzard had said on the forum was, We have not forgotten about this, and we are still investigating bla bla, all the usual bull crap you get when they dont do anything. So i was fed up, and with my real life problems, just got me to "explode" and well i wrote a "nice" forum post, i basically told Blizzard how damn bad they were at their job, and that if they after 6 month had no damn clue what the problem is, they should all go and find some other job, and hire some 10 year old kids instead, well a really "nice" post, but hey, i pay for 2 accounts every month, and all they can write is 4 messages over the 6+ month, and nothing about that they are working on some solution, but all we got was "we have not forgotten about bla bla", no damn way, so yeah i may have write a bit harsh, but some one had to tell them that they sux at their job if for 6+ month they had nothing more to say then that they are investigating, and have not forgotten. If i for 6 month, did not do my job at work, i probably would not be working that job for that long, so i found the need to tell them how bad they were at their job, and ofc they did not like that so i got the mail telling me thisReason: Obscene Language Date actioned: Thu Apr 12 14:42:37 GMT 2018 Action ending: Permanent Ban Reported post: Following this last incident, we decided to permanently revoke this account's forum posting privileges. So now, from around 09.00 to around 04.00 thats 20 hours a day, i cannot take any items out of the Guild bank, posting 1 item on the AH takes me up to 20-30 sec EACH item, thats from the time i press post til it is posted, on top of that i first have to scan the AH for that item, to find the lowest one, thats another 15-20 sec EACH item, so if i want to post 20 x 50 stacks of some thing, i can go out take a shower, take a nap, and then i may still have time to watch a few movies before it ends (yeah may not be that long). So yeah what Blizzard pulls is just unacceptable, we are closing in on 1 year of this problem, and first now they come forward and say they got a "temp" solution, i bet its not, i bet we wont see much changes, may get a few sec off the time, but a solution to the problem i bet its not..You have to find out what the mentality of the post 2000 x 1 items is, remember it takes me 20 sec at least each item i post, so why do those people want to sit there for hours and post those 1 items, well knowing that items like and other new stuff, will sell fast if they undercut with 50%, so it cant be because of the gold, they would not undercut that much then, so i do not think that putting a bigger fee on posting stuff will solve the problem, as written it seams the people that post the 1 items dont care much for the gold, but do it because they find it "funny" to do so...Now i day i rarely uses the AH, yeah ofc i do a few times a day, but i no longer run the 2 Accounts, i'm back to 1 account, and all the lag really takes the mood out of playing the game, having to deal with things that used to be close to instant, now takes you 20-30 sec, thats no fun, needing to talk to a NPC that dos not respond for 20 sec, yep thats really fits well with most people, the GM i talked to yesterday wanted to sell a lot of hes old mats, but even he was frustrated and gave up on posting hes item, imagine how bad it must be for a New player, that think ah boy a big server means a lot of people, so he can find easy teams, so he joins the big server, and then walking up to a NPC and want to hand in a quest takes you 20 sec, yeah im sure he will stay subbing for long, he may think its this on all servers, so wonder how many people Blizzard scared away from BFA that way, and how many old people that came back to play BFA and then this, how many of those then stay for longer when they need to just sit and wait for this long every damn time you want to interact with a NPC...But hey lets see how much this "fix" will bring people. And yeah i may have overreacted when i told that they should all get a new job, and hire 10 year old kids and so on, but i just told them the truth, some times the truth hurts, but some times it needs to be said/written even if you know its not a nice thing to do. And yeah it may not be smart to post such thing, but well you asked i answered.
I hunt goblins in diablo a make lot of euros but now is dead. So blizz nerf it and let us be op by RNG
Discussion - I gladly got baa'l but for the waist of time im not so sure. I think it's well named, as in, im not waisting my time on that haha. As for professions i am glad im a herb/alch so i can at least make some money. Although i think the goldmaking this expansion is way off. It just seems silly to get 80 gold from a mission instead of the thousands of gold i made in legion. And they give a stupid 5million mount to spend it on.....silly
Well, as much as I dislike a fact that most of professions are way too underrated, I'm more interested in secrets such as Baa'l. Like how do people even come access those things? Okay you are semiaware of somethings existance but really? Gj on finding all this stuff! I'll definitely go after Baa'l and that waist tho, worth it!
I've been going out into the world with my main toon. She gets a lot of green BoEs, which i send to my auction toon who's also an enchanter and also the deposit toon. With that toon then i decide what to do. If an alt needs expulsom, i send some greens to that alt. Otherwise, if i need mats for enchants, i just disenchant them. And when the greens don't yield enough expulsom, i craft LW greens with my LW alt and send to the alt that needs expulsom.
As an engineer, I’m not planning on making a ton of money off my profession. I’m mostly keeping with it now for personal convenience. The few things I have sold, have been at less than the price of mats.
I've been disenchanting items but I'm now scrapping all blues. I need a lot more expulsom and the shards are only about 60g on my server.
I've been scrapping the gear I got at first to earn some expulsom but then with leatherworking you can get far more expulsom for more gold since you disenchant the wq and dungeon gear and sell the really, for now at least, expensive enchants.
The lack of crafting options after the initial leveling/gearing stage has always been an issue in past expansions but it does feel more extreme this time around. I'd love to see unique & valuable perks from each profession return, similar to the LW bracer enchants or BS belt sockets from Wrath era.
I've recently transfered from Arathor to Ragnaros (EU) and the slow AH affected me on both realms, but on Ragnaros it affected me so much that I've stopped selling stuff on AH.Cuttently on that realm both enchants and potions sells for less then the material.
I've stopped scrapping stuff when I saw that 10 mythic items I scrapped gave me 3 nodes worth of Monolight Ore. Azerite gear sometimes procs 5-10 Platinum, but all else goes straight to vendor since I'm not an enchanter. Kinda dissapointed, but oh well.
I managed to buy a Pelambre agujereada for only 25 gold on the auction house, thanks to some kind soul who wasn't trying to gouge people by selling it for 10000. Got the Rudius de Proximo after slowly flipping Halaa back to Horde control, and bought and mailed a few extra to an alt to sell off later. The best part about the grey items is that they can all be resold when you're done with them, even the old enchanting formula, letting you turn a bit of profit or at least cutting back on your losses. I didn't want to gouge others who wanted to get in on the secret, but I still made a bit of profit, flipping the pelt for 50 gold and selling the sword for 500.I have doubts that most people will be able to cash in bigtime on this one for a couple reasons. First, the end reward is neat, but not as flashy as a unique pet or mount like other secrets have had. Second, the green armor pieces are all low-level tailoring crafts learned from a trainer, so almost any tailor will be able to produce and sell them, flooding the market. And finally, since the grays can be resold, the market will likely end up with far more of the items than are needed, lowering the prices and potential profits.Props to the secret finding community for figuring all this out! And congrats to anyone who managed to hit paydirt. I think the ship has sailed for the rest of us, but I'll be putting up a sword every day or two until I work through my stock. Any sale will be a profit!
I got my Baa'l a few days ago and the Waist of Time is next.Already got the greens but still need the greys.
Archaellon just took the words out of my mouth... the current condition with those professions is hilarious.Every profession is useless after iLvl 300, sure you can craft mythic-gear for yourself, but what else?Blizzard just needs to overhaul some parts of the professions, please :-/
This addon is really amazing.
I find that I never have enough expulsiom, just because I have two professions (enchanting and tailoring). Professions are in a low point and I wish I just gathered. Hydrocores are frustrating with how many are required and the gating behind them.
