im rly concernd on how i can make my 5mio gold...cant find a good marked so far =(hope this will change with the raid and mythic+
BillOnyxia getting into addons is the best news I've heard in a while. I've been a follower of his goblin posts for some time now. Brb, going to download ScrapMaster right now.
I haven't started on either Baa'ls Darksign or Waist of Time yet. But I finished all of the secret finding activities in Legion. So I will most likely get to both of them eventually.
Discussion Point: Slow auction house and guild bank has affected me on Draenor EU server but thanks to TradeSkillMaster addon it still made AH way more useable in comprasion to standard AH ui, because with TSM posting lots of items is more configurable. I haven't had items returned from missions with Champion Equipment, because my main isnt max level yet, atm leveling alts first.
Professions discussion point - professions apart from alchemy haven't really felt revelant for me since vanilla and TBC. I still remember everyone and their twinks needing crusader and other enchants whenever they upgraded gear and TBC added gems into that and having the right gems/enchant seemed to make a difference. I can still remember running from twinks in lower bgs when you see the crusader icon flash up. Crafting armours was also still worth while because 75% of chars would use it. I haven't played BfA yet but it doesn't look good from what I've read, hopefully some rare drop recipies get added in that will be useful to most people apart from top end raiders.
My honest first impression of proffs for BFA wasnt so bad. however, being max lvl in game i quickly changed my mind. i went with engineering, and i love the skimmer and the portable stable master for my hunter. i managed to grind through the mats to get to 125 to make my goggles and i loved it. thats when i realized....that was it. there was no reason to even max out the prof. the goggles dont seem to be upgradable.....there are no other patterns to learn besides a mount (ive never been a fan of gold sink mounts and this one looks like another 30k+ sink.) it was a let down and i kind of just feel like i wasted my time now. once uldir opens and i immediately replace my goggles....theres literally no reason to have the proff.
I've been scrapping mainly on any toon except my enchanter, will be actually dropping mining and herb on my main and grabbing lw (dh for the bop gear) and enchanting for all of the wq drops
Secret Finding Discussion Point - I think this is awesome love look of pet and transmog set that you will obtain. Find it awsome all information about this as well located on this site and others to help you obtain and complete all steps needed and like thank all people who contributed to the steps and information.
It just makes me mad that their solution to the AH lag is to punish the players instead of updating this ancient system. This is just a lazy workaround that doesn't fix the core issues. Many other game companies with far less resources than Blizzard managed to do much better.
Fish is where I am making gold, for now, sells about as fast I can post.If the Ah was not so slow to post I would make a lot more
At this point in the expansion I've only got one 120. It's professions are herbalism and mining. My initial plan was to switch one of them to jewelcrafting, but as it currently stands I'll just keep the gathering profs and wait to see what, if any, changes Blizzard make to professions over the course of the expansion.
While I do agree somewhat with LGF, I also think that a lot of people are hoarding their herbs waiting for the raid and mythic+ to open. Will that satisfy the demand or are we going to see 2k+ anchor weed and flaskless people in pugs? That's the million gold question! It's a distinct possibility that Blizz will up the spawn rates once the content hits, but I sure hope not. Hashtaggathererforlife. One thing is for sure: prices will be very server dependent, with "raiding" servers being more herb deprived. Now's your time to boost a character on one of those and get yourself some tokens trough herbing!
thanks for the callout for scrapmaster addongetting it now.
Have you been scrapping your items or disenchanting it?I sell green boes @150-200g each to players and I disenchant pretty much everything else, prob made over 40k gold just from veiled crystals. At the start it was also very lucrative to scrap plate gear, look on your AH see how much ores go for.
Profession Meta Discussion - I choose mining/herb for professions on my now main when I boosted him a few expansions ago. I find for leveling and gold making throughout the expansions, this servers my gold making strategy well. I made a bunch of gold the first few days of the expansion selling just what I came across as I leveled. I think the Devs made 3 starring each item a little to easy this time. I didn't like the hours of gathering to get one star in Legion, but getting everything to 3 star within the first week of BfA seems a little quick. I have slowed my gathering as i start to focus on other items and instead of putting on the AH, have started to level other professions on some of my alts. I'll have to see how that goes.
Haha, it is the 1st expansion I focus on professions right from the start and now it is not profitable at all. Still it is fun to craft and gather but I was expecting something closer to legion profit. What I don't understand is why it is still profitable to craft hexweave bags even now, 3 expansions later from wod.
Thanks to this article I have decided to just try to cash in in everything I can. I was absent most of Legion, and I dualbox, so I missed out on an ENORMOUS gold making opportunity :(
I started DE over scraps after I realized that I make more money from the dust than the amount of scrap mats I get. But now that prices are slightly more stable, I end up putting blues in the scrapper while DEing greens. While I did do the goat secret, I haven't done the belt. I am selling the cloth crafts needed for the belt though .
