Did you watch any of the Blizzcon streams or attend the convention? What are you most looking forward to in the future of WoW?Watched the free streams including some of the WoW arena championship. Followed live blogs of the Classic WoW stuff, and so looking forward to playing Classic.
I like that they are trying new things with professions, these do seem random and interesting enough but obviously wont make the crazy kinda gold herbalism has this expansion, most seem quality of like stuff. Still something to actually do with the professions at least for fun rather than profit!
I do suggest everyone interested in the 5million part to actually read the reddit post too, it wasn't too long (even if he said so) and gave nice insight. I'm definitely going to try that 2x4 group farming, been planning to find a farm group anyways since those mounts are kind of tedious to farm alone. :)
I would rather not specifically farm for anything I plan to sell and usually just use up what I get from adventuring. At times I'd buy the mats when they're cheap then craft them into something that sells well.
I am looking forward to 8.1 to level alts. Some alts already got 120, but others awaiting 8.1 for easy leveling. And it's great that Blizzard increase emissary rewards, so my alts will farm this.
Honestly I look forward to hitting 80 on my alts because that is where it gets easier to lvl them, the xp seems to actually go up and balance out from kills and gathering profs also...1-80 sucks and it takes so long to get any progress. Also why can't the game change for past expansions the way it has for current ones. I'm sorry but killing 45 mobs to get 5 items is just pointless especially when the XP is so low.
The 2000g isn't worth the time, was surprised seeing it that high but skipping them. Is there any chance the high ilvl crafted items that require hydrocore/sanguicell won't be BOP in 8.1?
I've definitely been waiting for the leveling changes in 8.1 to go back to some of my alts, especially with trying to level so many allied races, and besides I've been having enough fun doing other things at max level on those that I did get to 120.Regarding the 5M in a month, I'm happy that he's made that much money, but the setup (dual boxing) and the amount of time sunk into it is not something I'd be willing to do.
Farming is a solo adventure for me, which I'll do outside of any Guild events or when I'm less attentive to the screen due to RL distactions and so can easily pause. I do enjoy playing the AH and have made some nice profits, but am not able to commit rnough there to make it a regular source of Gold.
I have farmed all the Zandalar mounts for more than 70 hours while being in groups of 5 people, thankfully I received the Nazmir one around hour 69, cause otherwise I would have given up on mount farming for a while. Due to all my years of farming in this game I prefer playing the auction house over farming but there is just something that continuously gets me to farm anyway. I wish I could keep a 2nd account but I had to give that up cause my PC can't run 2 WoWs anymore. The 2nd account was usually used for camping rares and playing the AH.
So the best way to farm is to be in a 2x4 group and have a second account to snipe the AH. I should give it a try because farming mats in ragnaros is horrible. Everyone undercut you by 50% or more :(
I did read the story posted about going from 4k to 5m. I think farming is a good way to obtain gold as it keeps you in game participating in challenges/objectives compared to just playing the AH. I do not look forward to those days that I only log in to play the AH. It is rather boring just cleaning mailboxes and re-posting items on the AH. I do enjoy even if it seems like a grind logging in and farming various items. I to hope to gain enough gold to purchase a long boy.
i really like the the whomper pet anyone else like it ?
Have you been waiting to level alts until 8.1? Will you be more inclined to do your daily Emissary Cache with the increased reward? What do you focus on first when you get to max level on an alt?Yeah I am going to wait until 8.1 until i lvl my lower alts again. I'm still doing Emissary Cache on my main, but not going to bother on alts.
I watched a Blizzcon stream but didn't attend the convention. I'm waiting for the all new classic WoW.
I did watch Blizzcon streams from 2017 and 2018, honestly this year was kinda disappointing. Not just because we did get not so much info or better said, we did get majority info regarding WoW before from Q&A so. Also kinda need to mention Diablo Immortal fiasco which we have seen but also ticket rewards were disappointing this year. So overall disappointed on every level with this year´s Blizzcon. But hopefully we will see something cool in future.
