how the hell does the horde have blizzards favor when they kill our warchief every damn expansion and if they arent dead they are the bad guy. the alliance lost ONE KING in how many years. gtfoh and stop crying
It's not about existential despair, it's about wanting revenge on those who failed to save you and JOINING those who murdered your friends and at your dying moments forced you to see as they burned down your entire city with the rest of your loving ones (civilians no less) inside. lolI don't have any problem with blizz making night elf Forsaken, but honestly the way they're puting this here is just too nonsensical unless there's mind control involved. Why choose DELARYN out of so many night elves to tell this story when they clearly made many paralels with ther and Sylvanas before?Just imagine if Sylvanas, after the fall of Quel'thalas, after she fought incessantly for her homeland and beloved people, was risen by Arthas with free will: Would she want revenge from him for what he had done to her and her people or would she rather join him and want revenge on Kael'thas because he was far away in Dalaran at the time?
Tbh I don't even care for this part of the questline. The changes that they made were fair enough for me and made Tyrande look really great (which was their first intention and reason for this scenario to exist). What bugs me is how far people are going to justify something as nonsensical as undead people with free will wanting to join THOSE WHO KILLED THEM to get revenge on THOSE WHO FAILED TO SAVE THEM FROM THOSE WHO KILLED THEM. And yes, until there's more information this is what it is.
Can't wait for Sylvanas to raise Deathwing as her mount. Or no, Deathwing for Nathanos. She needs to be much more cooler. Let her raise Galakrond! And let Galakrond breath forsaken blight on her enemies. o_OJoking. All she needs is "REEEEE"
I can totally accept NE choosing to get back up, hate elune, hate the NE or alliance that didn't save them, and even try to fight them. I just don't understand why they are joining sylvanas and nathanos to do so. They could have just as easily said, no we'll kill you all and made their own forsaken, with elbows! They keep saying sylvanas has opened their eyes to death or something, and I wonder why forsaken players at least don't know what they are talking about. Seems like they are setting up for a big reveal, but are leaving out a goodportion of the people who should be in on it.
What I also find ridiculous about this is that the Moon aka Elune is clearly visible on the sky during these events... Also, I honestly doubt that "power hungry NE would want to be raised" or whatever would be Sira and Delaryn. Especially Delaryn who was shown as compassionate and loyal to her people. I really hate the way they are handling this story.
yeah... i'll just pretend this never happened and move on
I see so many saying that night elves wouldn't choose to be brought back. However, didn't we learn that when raised as a forsaken things are NEVER the same. Not the night elf that is being brought back or the reaction to them being raised. Elune did NOTHING while the tree burned. Why not stop Sylvanas? Why not protect the innocents? The anger towards the person who did nothing can sometimes be more than the person who did. Just saying if I had absolute trust in someone that they would save me no matter what and they let me down, then I'd have more anger towards the one I trusted than the one I knew not to trust.
Hmm, let’s see. A race that was formerly immortal and has lost it plants a tree in a fit of pride in order to regain that lost immortality. Aspects refuse to bless new tree so immortality does not come back. New tree becomes infested by old gods and has to be purified and is eventually blessed but immortality still fails to be restored. Tree is burned down by powerful magic many nightelves die. The power that burned down the tree and killed you and you friends offers to give you back your life, which may also include some form of immortality, if you join forces with them. I don’t think it’s a stretch to think that some Nighteleves would take that deal. They as a race have been trying to retrieve the immortality that they sacrificed and given that and the fact that Elune has seemingly abandoned them why not join the side that wants to bring about an end to death? It is a type of immortality and a deal is a deal.
