Btw, they won't remove factions for one reason: $$$You know there is a faction change service. Removing factions will remove $$$ from that. Simple. They will keep changing domination of faction by buffing one and nerfing the other just to keep $$$ flowing.Remember when everyone played human in PvP?
And that's the end of allied races folks.
Removing factions is a huge trigger for some people. I'm curious as to why. What does it do for you to have two factions? I always get meme responses whenever I ask or "Blizzard won't do it because it's always been done". I can tell you what it would do for me if they were removed: more friends coming back to WoW and playing together. More guild options. Faster queues. Less imbalances. They would no longer have to force the narrative in a certain direction to support the faction war as well as the current story.
So are these new NPCs always the representatives in the embassy, or does it have the current heroes and then these guys replace them once their race has been unlocked?

Now there's space for the representatives.
"Removal/rework of factions" is a hell of a leap to make from just some rearranging of NPCs. It would not be unwelcome, because the faction system as it stands is a huge barrier for play between friends...but they've been pretty clear in the past they're uninterested in blurring this line because they love their red vs. blue dynamic.at which point I would like to politely remind any dev or designer reading this that you can base factions on morals instead of racism
