Expecting first comment claiming leveling "took mooonths" and " was haaard", despite of people proving an optimized leveling path was actually doable in a reasonable amount of time and - with mob density being nowhere near some modern zones- with not so many deaths. Also waiting to see how those comments will turn out when ppl will start hitting 60 in Classic at a decent pace.
Anyone know if we are gonna have the global chat channel?
Cannot wait to level my night elf hunter, RPing a sentinel, I really miss the old pre-cata hunter design AND cosmetic quivers

I can't wait to be that guy who still have rank 1 fort at lvl 60 because I can't afford all my spells haha
"You must choose between a handful of zones in your appropriate level range."If you do this you will most likely run out of quests by the end. I saw such complaints on ye olde forums of people claiming to run out of quests. The alternative is to go do all the zones in each level bracket as you're leveling up, even if the quests start out grey, you still get reduced exp for them and they usually lead into higher quests. The problem is - this is kinda slow because the zones in similar level range are far away from each other and travel takes freaking ages....or you could skip zones and end up grinding for those last couple levels.I think the biggest surprise for people is going to be finding out that dungeon quests aren't waiting for them on a npc conveniently standing inside the dungeon portal. I remember Sunken Temple had like 7 or so quests and they came from npcs in far flung places like Un'goro, Tanaris, Hinterlands, Swamp of Sorrows, etc (or started in the dungeon and sent you to Winterspring).
Correction: Thousand Needles did not have an ice sheet. It had a salt flat. Very good spot for low-mid 30s collect-40-bear-flanks quests that will get you a lot of xp due to the amount of kills to clear that area. The downside is that it is a neutral quest area right next to the Tanaris flight path and will be highly contested so PvP realm-goers beware!
What about the in-game mail delay? Nowadays the most common usecases (between characters on the same account and within a guild) is instant, but at least on the guild side that's a later addition. As I recall initially nearly all mail had a 1-hour delay.
Can't you make a separate Classic site? This is all incredibly tedious.
"Make sure you're happy with the character that you create" - not possible for me and most of my wow friends who joined horde in the BC.My main char is BE warlock and none of my alts are undead or orcs. Not to mention all those guys playing BE paladin as their main char.Blizzard should have included both BC races and their respective starting zones (both are now L10-60 zones and integral part of main continents) into classic WoW.Of course minus Outland and L60 cap should stay as it is.
I remember when I needed a higher level guild mate to escort me across Wetlands to get the only flight point at Menethil so we could take boats to Theramore or Dark Shore. I really felt I was progressing when that happened.
TLDR: It's gonna suck
