My bet is on October 1st.
October 1st seems like the most probable date. next week we'll probably see the end of the War campaign hit the PTR. Although I do like Taliesin's theory that we won't see it ever hit the PTR, and our first look of it will be the live game.
I think they will just keep everything encrypted, considering it includes changes up to the Lunar Festival, it has to last.
Pretty good chance for October 1st as BFA sale ends September 30th.
I am thinking next week, since both October 1st and 8th are Jewish holidays.
October 1st is certainly possible, though I'm not counting out September 24th yet. Once the PTR has a release candidate it generally gets launched pretty quick.
My bet's on Oct 1st due to the BFA $20 off promo ending on the 30th. Don't want those new RAF recruits to get BFA for cheap.
Like the better question than trying to guess based on what the competitor is doing or when a sale ends is to maybe look at how long patches took to release after both patch notes and release candidates were already up?Lunar Festival stuff is also non indicative on how long it will last, I mean the Hearthstones up to Midsummer were introduced nearly a year ago(and 8.3 being after after Jan is highly doubtful, that'd make this longer than a 7 month tier, that's insane and is much longer than what BfA has at all pulled), it is far more likely that the Lunar Festival stuff was already done (p easy stuff really, just a short quest enabling all year round transmog) and they decided to put it in now, or more likely in case they do mess up 8.3 and have to delay it. Friendly reminder that that at the PHYSICALLY LATEST, PTR will be up a week after Blizzcon(far more likely they drop it before Blizzcon to focus on the next expac instead) that'd make this a 3 month PTR.
Maybe we should check the casting time of those npcs at the broken shore? :)
We need to go back to the Legion model of having some random ass mob cast a spell that tells us when the next patch is coming. I'm all about that life. But in all seriousness, the 1st seems most likely. At the latest I'd say the week after.
And still no face deformations for worgen and goblins.. if they come out like that then it will suck.
FFXIV Nier patch is announced to be late October so there's your 8.2.5 launch date.
My launcher shows a release date of the 25. September in the News section (german version). I can't click it though, but the title reads:"Das nächste Inhaltsupdate für Battle for Azeroth wird am 25. September..."Which roughly translates to:"The next Content Update for Battle for Azeroth will be (released) on 25. September..."Just found it, thought it might be interesting.Edit: Just got the whole article open:https://worldofwarcraft.com/de-de/news/23156365There you go.Edit Number 2:Here you have it in english:https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/23156365
Yeah, I’m betting on September 24th.
