if im exalted with mechagon on my horde character can i make a mechagnome or do i need to be exalted on an alliance character?
Jeah Gnome copy :)Like always.Zandalari for Horde are awesome too, alliance gets Dwarve, Draenei and Gnome copy. YAY
I feel like this whole Allied Race thing has been a dumpster fire, except for the Vulpera they've only given retreads of other races and none that people would actually want.
If you're exalted with Mechagon on a Horde character, will you be able to make a mechagnome still? Or will you have to do the grind all over again on Alliance?
As an Alliance player I can honestly say I've wanted none of the allied races we've been given.I never understood the problem with introducing two new races per expansion nor do I understand why some of the allied races introduced couldn't have been customization options (ie Mag'har Orcs (from Outland not AU Draenor), Dark Iron Dwarves, Highmountain Tauren, Lightforged Draenai, and now Mechagnomes). Like, introducing new races is commonplace in the expansions but we don't have to play all of them, especially when there are plenty of candidates already in the Alliance and Horde that you can't already play like High Elves and Taunka as examples (though Taunka could also be a customization option). I'm happy for the people who've wanted Vulpera since the expansion's launch but I'm overall disappointed with the Allied Race system as whole and really don't want it to continue past BFA.
Starting to blur the faction lines, since Horde is able to gain rep with Rustbolt.
And nothing, like always about high elves, wild hammer, the original races that blizzard doesnt want add to the game.Is a shame.
Mechagnomes look alright. What troubles me with mechagnomes is... Where does the race end and the heritage armor begin? If some pick to customize towards a more "mechanical" build, is there any way they'll make up for a lack of gestures (well OK, they robots, they aren't supposed to be expressive but... still)?
Remember when the Alliance were burning up Vulpera's in Voldun? Their loss, I guess
Meh, I was hoping for the Gilgoblins of the Unshackled to be Horde races. Still, with vulpera being added this means that any race now has the possibility to be an AR considering they're not a 'sub-race' of a race we already have.
On that note though I find mechagnomes to be meh while vulpira I will definitely make
Terrible, another version of the joke race.Gnomes are scarce, I feel mecha-gnomes will be the same and it's just a waste of an Allied Race slot.
Mechagnomes for the Alliance....great...an extension of a crappy race that could've just been a customization option on an existing race. And the race no one wanted. Meanwhile, the Horde get a newly introduced race. Hello, Horde bias, it's good too see you again, I suppose. Mechagnomes must be the Diablo Immortal of 2019.
I could care less about the Vulpera, but I'm loving all the tears that people are crying because they keep forgetting how WoW and Warcraft 3 have always been rather "furry friendly" games from the start. Seriously, how is people turning into animals, positive portrayals of non-human and non-elven fantasy races, and the obvious giant, bulky bovine race "not furry" I'll never know. However, what I am disappointed with is that once again, we're essentially getting another allied race that would have been better as a customization option. Seems like if you want to play as a brown/black orc (or dwarf), a fat human, a gnome with mechanical parts, an upright troll, or a moose tauren, you have to go through a bunch of extra steps. Yes I'm aware that it's not actually THAT difficult, but it's really just a testament to Blizzard's massive phobia of player customization. The fact that there's so little to customize with each race with is further salt on the wound.
