Can't wait to have Alliance leaders for my Scourge-lite faction.Do Blizzard remember WHY Forsaken were added as a playable faction? I'd rather have Keever.
Calia is a blight (no pun intended) on the forsaken. if sylvanas going to die atleast she should take calia with her.
gg forsaken are deadill delete
Makes no sense to have Calia, the daughter of Terenas, leading a Horde faction.
tbh if this is the beginning of the end of factions I am friggin' here for it. There's so much more that could be done with this bloody story when they don't have to twist things into knots to justify the Alliance and Horde still being at constant dumb war right up until something bigger and scarier threatens to curbstomp everybody.
Beautiful. It's what Sylvanas feared in the novel. Calia Menethil cares for her people, for Lordaeron. Even in life she was accepting of the Forsaken. They weren't monsters, they were her countrymen. Then in unlife, she only wanted to help those who felt helpless. This is a good start. As a Forsaken player, Lordaeron has been at the core of a lot of roleplay for me. Now we have the actual Gods honest heir to Lordaeron. :)It almost feels like the Horde is going to play less of a part in the future. A council of cultures and now we have Alliance 'zombies' trying to help their brethren.Almost as if next expansion is going to do away with some of the faction stuff. Kinda like it took a backseat in Legion to open up class halls. Now we'd have racial halls.. homes..In the book, the Lordaeron living met with the undead. Tears were shed, people's hearts were lifted. They could coexist. Even Genn Greymane cried, imagining what it would be like to have his son come back, even as a Forsaken. He finally got them, the Forsaken, understood who they were. Then Sylvanas killed every last one of them. Can't have them knowing that peace is a real option.
you dont need to show a build up if the characters werent even present. as long as they didnt build up anything opposing this (and they didnt) its all fine lol
I have to admit, the idea of having calia as forsaken is growing on me xP
I feel like the transition of leadership should have been more of a build up but I liked the change. I loved before the storm with Calia but she should have been more present in the game if they want people to root for her. This is giving the forsaken more depth. That aren't just evil monsters that can't feel emotions other than hate like Sylvanas made people believe....made them believe. If this ruins the forsaken then it feels like you only liked them because they were these mindless killers....sorry?
Absolute destruction of 15 years of forsaken narrative. These writers are the single worst thing that has ever happened to this game.
Ew. Just Ew.
Forsaken Revolution?I will support a king and queen, only if Syl comes back and murders them and reclaims her throne.
How out of touch can you be with 15 year of lore!
I'm still having a bit of trouble what people are saying this is -entirely- a bad thing really.I mean, there's been some badBlizzard writing before but Calia leading the Forsaken doesn't seem too bad. Though there ARE some issues... like the forsaken being unforgivable creatures that inflict pain and suffering wherever they go so Blizzard would have to REALLY try to make forsaken be 'decent' people. And Lillian's motives being... whack job insane. Saying she likes undead is like saying the naaru are selfish beings for their own motives. It's CRAZY to just pull that out of nowhere when it's been the opposite for years. So on one hand, I understand why people hate some of this, but I also don't entirely get all of it.
Long live Queen Voss of the rune blades long may she reign!
