This seems fun! Waiting to see which ones they put up for Ret Paladins.
So it appears legendary power choices in SL will be structured like Azerite Traits in the way that there'll be general class powers and spec-specific onesIn case you can opt to pick 'general only' perks for a legendary, that would be great for people playing more than one spec on their character. Also together with the unpruning, I think there's somewhat more design space for meaningful 'general' powers!
Question is how hard is it going to be for non-crafters. If I understand correctly, you need to craft this legendary item for yourself. Cannot wait to see more details on the system.
With Vampiric Aura coming back, it could give BDK the bump it need to get back to push keys. hopefully bring it close to the other tanks that seem so far ahead in M+
The main thing to consider and think about. Is yes, it feels good to get fun toys. I'm looking forward to some of these. The part that sucks is when 10.0 rolls around and we lose them again. Hopefully Blizzard has a better plan in place then the Legion to BfA transition.
Depending on how many of these effects you can get it's either extremely awesome or pretty meh. If you can get more than 3 of them it's pretty nice, with crafting them yourself instead of hoping to having them dropped. If it's up to 3 it's kinda a reskinned Legion and that would be... really bland. So far only mage got new things, DK and Warrior have perks, that were in the game in exactly that way. And that is pretty boring. As cool or amusing as some of them are, we need something new, and not just warmed up Legion. Also it would give an amusing lore implication. "Yeah, this forge has only so many capabilities. And all of them have been used already, so we are recycling. Well, deal with it!"
Temporal Warp needs to die in a fire already. The only way it makes the mechanic not complete garbage to deal with is having the debuff on you gives you access to a new "Time Warp" that doesn't share the 5m CD. No one wants to deal with this shared CD !@#$, no one who plays Mage competitively wants to see this return, let it die.Grisly Icicle could be nice, but it's still going to break from other people's damage. So this is a soloist/PVPer trait, which...not great. One's irrelevant and the other is ridiculously strong melee CC. Could be potentially interesting for momentary Shatter bonuses, like GS>Nova on trash, instead of GS>Flurry/Freeze.Slick Ice pushes Frostbolt under GCD cap in 6 stacks, pls no. Hopefully this can be changed to anything else in the world, as Frost has no desire for the weakest 3m CD to ...do more of what it already does, but only to one spell? Give it literally anything else. Of course this also is a great time to remind everyone that Ion once admitted that Icy Veins is not a good cooldown, and they were looking at changing it...The two Orb traits are whatever, even when Lance is worth casting. They're both functionally CDR, so that's nice, but I have to question if they'll be worth it. Orb's got a really high DPCT, so more of them, especially free, has the potential to be nice. Just a question of how it stacks vs the others.Glacial Fragments seems potentially nice, but is a trash-only trait as it reads. It's a shame that a nice idea like this is bound to be relegated to the bin, simply because other options are better.Expanded Potential seems like the lazy way out of giving Frost the charge-based Flurry we've been asking for for the past 4 years to address proc munching/droughts. It's also not going to be all that strong, even at 3+haste RPPM. It'll probably be bleeding amazing for Fire, but not a first pick.Disciplinary Command is the saving grace I see here, and this is going to be a blindingly strong pick. There's absolutely no way this goes live with the current numbers, as it dwarfs EVERYTHING. For Frost: we were using the 2pT20 bonus going into BFA before they straight up nerfed it to 4% crit damage. That was 20% for 10s every 60s in exchange for 2 pieces of bad gear, an expansion and a tier behind Uldir, and it was poised to be good going forward beyond. This is 10% for 20s every 30s on a single BiS piece, with a 1 GCD investment through Fire Blast, as Counterspell is off-GCD. I'm glad that there's something here to be excited over, but good god, that's really %^&*ing strong.
I dont get it giving us back legendary there that we already had or they making new ones for sl?..solution how about this just make us as strong as were suppose to be in our skill set..that's it..and we can build on that.why so many trees and covenant abilites and conduits..
imagine to pay develop to get payed from company to find new thinks....and u bring back t17 sets legion legendarys abillitys …. no brain no brain
Hope they have the T18 four piece set bonus for MM hunters
Pretty bored with those DK traits. I'd take 2 charges of Death's Advance anyday.
