to all the whiners in the comments,do you really think one-shotting players in a pvp scenario based off random procs is good for the game?if so, you are kind of an idiot. just saying.
This game is so cooked.smh my head
It is "while you are in combat" though. Nahela's comment is right, this fix only works if it goes through immunities.
Calling the debuff 'inescapable consequences' feels a bit on the nose for what it's supposed to do lol
roflImmunities are game breaking. Confirmed.
More fun detected fun removed with that hotfix...>.>

Knew this was coming after Rextroy started oneshotting players.
Except for arcane mage (who's whole mechanic is about mana management) and healer I don't see the point of having mana for dps caster if they are not suppose to run out of mana in the first place!
TLDR: what's the point, with Shadowlands on the verge of coming out? Increase the Quality of Life instead.just set the limit & penalty when fighting other players. The game is just in limbo waiting for shadowlands, let players have their fun in bfa pve. It's difficult enough to even want to log in. The new races gimmick isn't strong enough to level with heirlooms. How about adding quality of life things into the game as a test, but also, in the end of each expansion. How about adding a way to skip all the cloak(and future equivalent) quests to obtain it.. if you've done it before? Or make the level of the heart of azeroth (or equivalent for each expansion) account wide. Where all experience towards that increases the level. To stop penalizing players who like to play other characters and have a family/job/life. Someone that plays 8 hours over multiple characters isn't any less of a player than someone that can stick to one character. If Blizzard didn't want us to play multiple characters why not have a much smaller limit?
