This, together with the increased difficulty due to the level-squish, will kill the legacy-raid-culture. I really enjoy running old content for transmog and mounts. Of course the gold was a nice side-effect that also comforted me when my desired loot didn`t drop :-) .However, these times are over. I have tried Tomb of Sageras on normal difficulty with a lvl 60 character on the beta but didn`t even get past the first boss (I might have if I had put in some effort, but the dmg I did/received was way beyond to what I am used to on live servers).I don`t see me no-lifing WoW in the future just to compensate my legacy-raid gold income if I can`t even do what made me log-in everyday in the first place.
Unpopular opinion, but can we bring the max amount of gold per char down a bit? This is like getting paid minimum wage now. Inflation keeps going up, but sources of gold are going down.
I wonder if this means, that the transmog costs are also going down a bit?
What about the multiboxers? What about the botters (Questzones and AH)? Why always target the honest player that enjoys the game and collects old items? Why always remove some fun? Do you expect people to empty their mailboxes now for 50 percent of the gold? Do you know how much time we spend on that as old content collector? Just keep your stupid items next time, stop mailing them to us, if we don't pick them up we don't need it neither, certainly not for a crumble.
Either revert it or fix token prices, not everyone is boosting 24/7.Oh what am i thinking, greedzard and trashtivision are """"""""developing"""""""" the game now...
Sorry for the "rage" but I'm still waiting for them to do something about the illegal players, and the "legal" players called multiboxers which shouldn't be legal to start with, that's like hardcore cheating. But yeah, reduce the price of some ingame items instead, well played Blizzard. Still waiting on them to actually take on a real problem. That place is a mess since Jordan and Mike left.
All Blizzard needs to do is add a few lines of code to the farming node phase shift. Saying "IF player count within 20m > 2 THEN phase out node". Of course that's not true code but you get the idea. That allows 2 people to farm the same node and leave but stops multi boxxers in their tracks.
very sad news, I'm sad
Raw gold farms aren't an issue if Blizzard takes care of the bots that farm stuff first. If regular people want to spend hours farming these places for raw gold, then I say let them. There are way better ways to make gold but if this is the best they can do, they should be allowed to do it. I had some guy tell the other day he makes 7k an hour farming Skyreach, and obviously he felt like it was a lot so more power to him.
Does it mean another gold squish in Shadowlands? How much gold do Shadowlands stuff give compared to 8.3 BfA equivalents?
