4k damage of obliterate with km and 1k obliterate with km after nerfs is a difference isn't itIts Blizz in its finest, instead fixing a problem nerf hole spec to the ground
In case a Blizzard forum dweller sees this, let me outline for you the consequences of the PoF change.Let us say, a fight is 7 minutes long. We can use IRW 3 times during the fight, and currently 9 times the PoF cooldown, which puts us at 135s raw uptime on the strength buff. W/o any rotational modifiers like Icecap, that is. Now, after this strange change, we have 12s buff duration on 60s cooldown, so we are down to 6 uses (7th will be right when the boss is dead, thus irrelevant). That is 6x12 = 72s uptime on the PoF. That is a 53% nerf to the ability during the given encounter, Blizz. 53! The longer the fight, the bigger our damage loss will be! 2h Obliteration build might have been "too strong" to handle, 5% nerf is acceptable for the sake of class balance. But 50% (!) nerf to one of our much-to-be-desired CDs during a regular progression encounter is just a case of hate crime. Even the fabled Icecap won't save the day this time, because you will need to set its effect to 6s in order to at least reach its pre-nerf performance. Please, test things out before you make us suffer through them, and not only for DKs. Your playerbase would be very grateful and maybe even forgiving.
