That's their way of doing things, nerf the overperforming one (even if working in the 'way' it was intended) than buff the underperforming ones.I mean, SIX WEEKS and we're still earning same amounts of anima. We need 91k only to get all stuf upgraded, what about all 'cosmetic' rewards? What about all else?Hundreds of thousands of anima, or even a million anima needed? When are we getting an 'upgrade' to anima income?
This guide is both very out of date and unfinished...
For Venthyr, The mount that drops off of Horrid is the same mount that you can buy from the renown quartermaster. So if you dont want to farm him daily, theres the option to buy him.
Lots of outdated information in this guide. Venthyr puzzle is so easy that the 60s timer is irrelevant. Besides, it's very close to the Halls of Attonement flight path, traveling there is extremely easy compared to Kyrian.
well now i just gonna skip those ridiculously long quests for almoust no rewarding what 35 of anima? dude i have like 250 boxes lol now it is like 100% wasting of time haha
Good stuff, thanks for posting this. Agreed: too much grind for too little reward. Blizz is successful again in requiring it's subscribers to spend even more hours per day to progress. Every time I see how little anima is deposited into the sanctum I feel just as disappointed as little Ralphie was when the secret decoder ring and message revealed a lousy Ovaltine commercial. Mobs in some areas are overpowered - maybe there is a large imbalance in player classes again? Even worse when mobs suddenly come out of nowhere and gang up on you. (I know, I have cheese to go with my whine!) Anyway, the small amount of reward hardly seems worth the time and effort. It's nice that Torghast can be soloed since not all of us are able to raid much less enjoy it. It would be even nicer if gear would drop when soloing in the tower. They certainly could up the anima reward on quests, and how about adding anima drops in Torghast runs? Crafting in this expansion has certainly improved over the last few - I was actually able to craft and equip some gear that were an improvement before leveling and acquiring other gear would render them useless. I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to do that (in the past several years). But it's not quite enough (except for legendaries, and you can only equip 2 legendaries at a time). Wouldn't it be nice if we could craft higher item level gear without having to run Mythics or raids? I would like to see a couple of basic improvements here:
imo the necrolord transport is one of the more usefull ones as you can use a glider from the upper floor of the necropolis to glide out the opening and skip straight to treasures rares etc
The Venthyr rank 1 conductor boss can only be looted if you have conducted anima there that day. This means it's also off limits to other covenants, unlike the other three covenants' bosses.
Rank 3 Anima for Venthyr. Buffs are pretty useless so far, the elite rare drops awesome backmog for venthyr though. Way back in dominance keep but theres a path to the Left and up the ramparts then down to forge that avoids worst of the elites. Elite is strong and summons more elites so definitely need help for to kill it.
The Anima Conductor is one of several expansion features (along with The Maw in its entirety, Twisting Corridors, the adventure table, and abom factory/ember court for a start) I have either balked at taking part in, or stopped using. Whether it was the apparent grind, time-gating keeping me from fully accessing them, lack of rewards to justify the time investment for what I *could* access, or just that they didn't feel fun, I feel vindicated in avoiding these chores with every news post that comes along. These features tend to feel unfinished to me. Maybe it's because it will be easily 2 more months before I have even my main's sanctum upgraded? Unless we start seeing 1k anima quests pop up, I'll never get any alt sanctums upgraded past t1. I'm simply not going to grind out those thousands of anima one world quest (70+ anima only; I won't bother with the single token quests) at a time. More power to those of you that want to sink time into this because there's a pet or a mount somewhere on the reward table, but it's not for me. I guess I mostly play for lore, which has me wondering why I haven't thrown my account in the trash yet.
see I took this the opposite way: get travel network first, then conductor. being able to do world quests faster by transporting means more anima and rewards, than having to channel then walk all the way over to the conductor activities. good to know Maldraxxi transport isn't worth it though.
The Conductor is already useless for me. I learned every single legendary without it's help, and I'm already exalted with Court of Night.I stopped bothering with it weeks ago.
The wording used here so very confusing... So can other covenants get the Predatory Plagueroc mount or not?
venthyr puzzle is so easy I laughed hard reading that the author of the article found it hard. You can't walk in a zig zagged line? There is 0 need to jump. lol
