You cannot possibly believe this. Out of all the mobs in the zone, only two didn't increase eye of the jailer AND dropped stygia. It's obvious the intent of the game was to be limited on how much you could farm based on eye of the jailer. This was OBVIOUSLY known and exploited around. Also dotlnt assume that it's the exact se people who are working on bug fixes, balance changes, new content, and catching cheaters
The stupidity in using exploits is that, those people thought that they could get away with anything in game, when Blizzard has every single action logged. We are in a surveillance world now, and moreso on the internet. You can't get away with anything in a game.
tfw blizzard bans the only people who are willingly participating in garbage maw grinds lmfao
Not going to stop them from exploiting again. I can guarantee it.
They have to learn to play fair and not abuse the bugs like the did with Honor Points
Roll them back, but banning them is stupid. Its a bug, its in the game that I am paying for. Fix it, roll those that used it back, you have the data, end of story. Why is everything a catastrophic event? Would you have found the bug if they wouldn't have "exploited it"?
I very much disagree with this punishment. As others have stated, while this was unintended it was in the game with no notice or warning from Blizzard that it was a bug they intended to fix. Feels like a huge overreach.
So if some of the exploiters had for example some 226 conduits from before, they're also gonna lose these?
I wonder what the exploit was. I didn't even know you could farm Stygia.
And what about sockets they bought? I would remove them too đŸ˜‰
