The current (as of 4.3) normal raid set for hunters - or 'how the Dragonstalker set was supposed to be like if only someone didn't trip of that purple paint bucket'.

You can get all pieces (or rather their respective tokens) in normal Dragon Soul raid:
Head: Warmaster Blackhorn
Shoulder: Hagara the Stormbinder
Chest: Ultraxion
Belts: bought with Valor, from Blackhorn or from trash, respectively
Legs:Yor'sahj the Unsleeping (token) or Alizabal in TB (item)
Feet: bought with Valor of from Hagara the Stormbinder
Hands: Warlord Zon'ozz (token) or Alizabal in TB (item)

The two-piece set bonus on this is amazing. Get it even if you need Raid Finder gear to do so. It changes everything. You'll have a lot more focus for doing everything.

The four-piece set bonus is less amazing, but still quite good. The ICD appears to be around 100 seconds with a 40% proc rate. Testing it with a normal Survival rotation gives roughly a 12% uptime. Tests on http://femaledwarf.com hunter DPS simulator show roughly a 200DPS gain dropping the ilvl 397 Valor chestpiece for the ilvl 384 Raid Finder chestpiece to get the four-piece bonus. Not much, but worth doing.

Beast Mastery hunters will love the four-piece, as Arcane Shot is their only focus dump, and it boosts the pet's DPS a lot, too.

Markmanship hunters will have the most interesting time with this. They'll need to track this and hard-cast Aimed Shot whenever it's up, but make sure they use lots of Arcane Shot when the hidden cooldown is done. The haste will probably benefit them the most, since a large portion of their damage is from Aimed Shot, which has a cast time. The required double Steady Shot will go a lot faster, too.

Some addon like Power Auras should be used to track this proc and its ICD for Marksmanship, as it affects your rotation.

I will also add that for PVP you probably want to keep 2T13, even with the associated loss of Resilience and even if you have to use lower-ilvl pieces to do it. It is HUGE.

The PVP shoulders are probably the best piece to replace if crit is your most valuable secondary stat; shoulders and gloves have the fewest stats of the five pieces, and replacing shoulders would be resilience to crit while gloves are resilience to haste. The helm is also a good choice (resilience to crit), while the chest is a crit loss and the legs are resilience to mastery.

edit: derp, forgot the PVP glove bonus, not huge but probably worth keeping. Shoulders and helm is the way to go I think.

5.0.4 edit: This is probably no longer true, as the 4pc PVP bonus now also provides some Focus and the Resilience/PVPP have become paramount stats. It might be worth using Heroic PVE gear over Honor (Ruthless), though it won't matter for long...

This is Cazador Normal Tier-13 from Alma de Dragón. There are non-hunter pieces available for most slots - see Wyrmstalker Battlegear (Lookalike) - but not shoulders. Sorry Chamáns. There are also two other colors, but most pieces are Hunter-only:
