If u cant find this set in ur transmog page
I couldn't find it in the mog page, i'm sure i did have this set, yet it was not in my bank, so i had to farm to get it again.
When i bought it again, it was added to my transmog page.
I hope it help someone.

Is it me or are the boots off (in colour)? They look like they belong on another set.
And I hope that the preview is wrong about human females as there is come clipping around the shoulders (they enter her back).

Tizona de cobre pesada which sheaths on back
Equus which is extremely ornamental compared to the simplicity of this set, but it does look way cool and Stormwind-ish

Manteo real or white/silver/gold equivalent, for simplicity
Capa bruñida poderosa preferably stage 2 of 3, for a more ornamental cape

For those wondering, yes, you can send this set (and tabard) to your horde characters, but they will not change to the Horde-equivalent Orgrimmar set.

I'm curious if anyone has tried changing factions while holding this set.

If you'd like to wear a cloak with this set, the "official" cloak would be the same one as worn by Melris Malagan, Captain of the Stormwind Guard... that cloak is the Capa loca Cenarion, which comes from the quest ¡Naphthal'ar te vigila! in Terokkar Forest (hope you haven't completed it).

Can the Stormwind Set (and the Ogrimmar set) be sent cross-faciton to be transmogged into gear? Or is transmog limited to race as well? The stormwind armor looks so nice on some of the Horde races/ I know you can't equip them, but the transmog wouldn't be race-restricted...would it?

If you're looking for a bow for this set, I'd say Arco de tormenta goes very well.
Also, you can try La Diplomática if you prefer guns, or Ballesta pesada de Baelgun if you want a crossbow.

For casters, if you're looking for a staff, I think Devoción is the best one.

For a dagger, I think the best you can find is Puntilla de La Guardia Nocturna.

This is the Stormwind Set, which is designed to mimic the Guardia de la ciudad de Ventormenta's armor. You earn it by turning in Restos de la Horda de Hierro, both through a quest called Restos de la Horda de Hierro (which rewards the tabard) and by trading Restos de la Horda de Hierro with Kristen Forjapiedra to get the armor pieces which are cosmetic and therefor usable by any class.

The pieces of the set are as follows:
Yelmo de Ventormenta - 50 Restos de la Horda de Hierro and 1 Yelmo de la Horda de Hierro maltrecho
Guardahombros de Ventormenta - 50 Restos de la Horda de Hierro and 1 Espaldares de la Horda de Hierro encostrados
Coselete de Ventormenta - 80 Restos de la Horda de Hierro
Tabardo de Ventormenta - 5 Restos de la Horda de Hierro for Restos de la Horda de Hierro
Mandiletes de Ventormenta - 50 Restos de la Horda de Hierro

Since 6.1 since obtaining this transmog set i decided to mail it to one of my horde characters to see if it'd swap to the Orgrimmar Set and sure enough it did, so happy to know that when my Orc warrior gets to 90 she can use the set rather than having to farm the set on one of my future level 100 Horde characters. The only downside the helmet is one item you do not want to send over as it converts to the horde tabard and upon sending it back it remains the tabard for alliance side.

I know it is not close to a lookalike for what the stormwind city guard NPCs have, but I have been using Espada de lord General on my guard RP character. I think the colours really fit this set very well.

So this set is cosmetic, but requires level 90. Does this mean that it can't be used for transmog by anyone less then 90?

If your a warrior with Capitán caballero (1800 RBG) so you can buy Réplica de espaldares de placas de Teniente coronel (Réplica de tizona de Gran mariscal Réplica de égida de Gran Mariscal for Protection) and (Espada magna del almirante Taylor or Réplica de mandoble de Gran mariscal for Fury, Arms) you can then look like a Stormwind commander instead of a guard all that is left is,

Cinturón de Ventormenta

Tabardo de Ventormenta this one is a must for the set for it to look good, old SW tabard is looking bad on this set for this

secondary option for a shield is Blasón real de Lordaeron from Mal'Ganis HC in La Matanza de Stratholme dungeon in Cavernas del Tiempo incase you dont like the PVP alliance shield

and to add a cloak also her is a matching one for the shoulders and it even looks good with rest of the set

I went with the Mandoble de casa de Wrynn for 2 hand and the Espada de lord General for 1 hand on my Paladin.
Looks really good with the set and both are easy to get.

So I noticed that this transmog set does NOT have bracers. They can be seen on the guards themselves but are not in this set. Does anyone know if there are some that I'm missing or of any good lookalikes?

I know some of you out there are probably like me, and sometimes you're just not in a helmet mood. Here's some alternative hat choices if you want a crown on your head so you can see your hair and still have that cool stormwindy feeling!

Clothies might go for
-Corona alma lunar
-Cinta de seda

-Cinta real (This is not the same as the archmage head)

-Tiara Sombranoche (Not my favorite, but, as random leather circlets are not terribly prevalent... yeah.)

Note: I purposely put non-quest circlets up here, and there might be a few that have identical pieces from quests.

Also note: In Legion, we might be getting wardrobes. Since that "might" happen (pretty sure it's going to happen, but you never know), and I've seen that all the quests you did in the past will put all their rewards put in your wardrobe, the quest thing doesn't matter as much. (But I put non-quest ones just for you people who are looking for mogs now and did all the quests :D)

Also also note: There might be a few circlet styles I missed, so feel free to note any for others to see!

For those which are casters and looking for a staff that looks cool with this set, i'm using Palo de disturbios. It's ellegant and the goldish touch kinda seem to work with this set. I'm open for new suggestions though. I hope that you will enjoy it too! :-D

For bows, two options are:
Arco largo de vanguardia de Ventormenta from the Legion invasion
Réplica de disparo certero de Gran mariscal from the old vanilla PvP system (Capitán caballero or higher). I'm not sure if the newer BG rating system (Capitán caballero) works.

For tabards, in addition to the
Tabardo de Ventormenta, don't forget there is also the
Tabardo de Ventormenta from the Wrath Argent Tournament

I just cannot believe no one knows how to get this SW guard set I know this is necroing a thread but all you have to do is farm Iron Scraps from iron docks from first boss. all you need is the dwarven bunker to collect iron scraps and then turn those in to the NPC whose name is Kristen Stoneforge. THIS SET IS LVL 90 TRANSMOG ONLY. Meaning only 90 plus level players may use it as mogging but all characters regardless of armour type can use them. I'm only saying this because I don't see anyone whos got any updated info on this for new players. Just as and FYI. once you run in and kill boss run back out and reset you can do as many times just at 10 you need to wait five minutes then run it again.

unlike the rest of the sets, which become "known" (you get a notification saying you completed the set and it then shows up in your set screen) the stormwind set appears to be missing bracers..

also, there is a stormwind cloak, and a stormwind shirt which come from a totally different vendor.

not known how to complete this set.

Does anyone know why this set isn't showing up in your appearances collection? I have the entire set (including the tabard and shield) but it doesn't show as a set like the other sets from the dwarven bunker do (ie. Thunderlord, Blackrock).

Btw if you learn the appearances do not just delete the items. You can disenchant them and receive some draenic dust or luminous shards.

This looks pretty good on Mechagnomes before you get the Heritage Armor. And in Shadowlands we'll be able to mog it right at level 10.

Starting from scratch, I found the fastest way to obtain this set is:

- Progress WOD story until you build your garrison. Add the barracks to the large plot as part of the quest (required)
- Complete the quest Cuanto más grande, mejor
- With a total of 350 Garrison Resources, upgrade your Garrison to Tier 2 and add the Dwarven Bunker to the large plot (replace Barracks)
- If you are short on resources, fly around shadowmoon valley and kill elites. Loot the resources box in your garrison too.
- Wait 1 hr for contruction
- Obtain the quest Restos de la Horda de Hierro inside the bunker and fly straight to the Iron Docks located in northern Gorgrond
- Set dungeon to either Normal and proceed to round up all mobs in the first half of the dungeon and farm
- Leave dungeon and reset (faster than killing the other 3 bosses)

This entire process took me about 3 hours total, without really trying to be fast. I went for the full set including the shield. 495 scraps total, including the 3 unique pieces you need to make the helmet, belt and pauldrons.
