I have always used the class order hall missions for gold. After they showed the brutosaur mount, I started to do old farms that gives alot of gold.
Personally I haven't really been doing the archeology quests, because they feel somewhat repetitive, and up to this point I honestly didn't know how much the pet for an example was worth. If it really gives around 50k gold.. Who knows, maybe I will start doing them again?
I haven't done much pet battling in Legion but I'm going to use up all my spare Pet Charms for the 25 lv battle stones before the price gets increased in BFA.
I really want to get Wyrmy Tunkins to add to my small but growing collection of pets. I'm going to cross my fingers that it doesn't take forever and a day to collect it :)Edited to add: started at 9:12 a.m. and finished at 11:15 a.m.with 800 archaeology Best site for me when it spawned was at 44.6, 29.9
I did some archeology sind Legion. But my Main gold income came from selling stuff in the auction House of boosting :) . But digging in the dirt is also a fun way top geht some cool stuff.I Hope i ein a Beta Key :)
Thank you so much for the heads up on the Wyrmy Tunkins battle pet! I was able to get it on 2 characters (the second got lucky with digsites and finished in less than half the time of the first) and will probably use training stones on them.
Me and my Fiance all we do is gold farm. We have about 8 million gold if we would put everything together. We usually put about 4-6 hours a day gold farming (since we do have work) so when we are able to stream we do about 4-6 hours. We would like to spend less time gold farming to make more since we do have work but we really aren't that lucky so that will never happen. Hehe. We really don't do anything else, sometimes we try to raid but half the time we want more gold so we can buy stuff, but we usually are running stuff to get bloods, extra gold, or just having fun with our stream,
How much time do you dedicate to gold-making? Would you prefer to spend more or less time making gold? What are your other main activities in game?I spend plus/mines 2h a day to make gold. I do it by selling pets. i prefer to spend more time making gold if the price of the token wil go up. My another main activities is raiding, most of my time i spend beating Boss.
I haven't been into making a ton of gold mostly because there doesn't seem to be much of a point. I actually got less interested, too, when the auctioneer mount was revealed (the one costing 5 million gold); it seems like Blizzard is just inserting unreasonable goalposts as a way to justify the insane inflation that has gone on where even the lowest-level gear costs hundreds or thousands of gold and having hundreds of thousands of liquid gold--or millions--seems to now be a pre-requisite to serious gameplay. I usually have between 50k-100k gold on my main and I haven't felt the need to try to leverage that into more.
I really appreciated the tip about the Wyrmy Tunkins Pet. I am now stocking up on them hoping they go up in price.
Haven't done much digging in legion nor have I completed all the quests. I haven't really bothered with it, since there has been so much interesting stuff to do. But I'll be doing some archaeology in bfa if there's any rewards for it that I like.
I've been Wyrmy Tunkinsing on all my toons!
I should spend more time on gold-making but weekly it is like 4 hours or so. My other main activity is just raiding and generally playing the game.
I loved archaeology quests and I really wish I could have gotten all of the artifacts while they were still available but oh well. My favorite rewards were the Spear of Rethu and the Spirit of Eche'ro. I also got pretty excited about this hidden spot in Black Rook Hold.In BFA I can't wait for what's coming next in archaeology, and I am so glad they're bringing back Zul Gurub recipes, considering I haven't played pre-cata. I hope to get all of the recipes and artifacts in BfA!
Hello fellow gold gatherersI am looking forward to the old recipes being back in-game. I have recently started gathering all the recipes possible for all the different kind of professions, its a pain, but getting over 60% of all recipes now so there is hope in sight. I liked the gold story line of Mochaboys. I have had a similar story but haven't reached such high gold. I have gotten to roughly 3,5 million in gold and I have about the same in worth of materials on my private guild banks. As I keep stock of many things to level all professions and getting all the recipes is now my priority rather than making tons of gold.So waiting on that lovely beta key now to go and check out BFA before its release.Kind regardsPurediggerGamerWhizz guildMagtheridon
I mostly went around suramar mining for ores and made the felhound mount a few times.
If Zul'Gurub reputaion is coming back would it be some kind of award to old users like blizzard did give a special renewed mount to scarab lord. My first wow experiences were burning crusades ones but I respect the users from original wow. That is agreeable to give advantages to those old friend users but there should be some way to work with that reputation through zandalar. And everyone would curious about would they sell Zul'Gurub tiger and would it be look like tiger loa Kimbull. If it looks like Kimbull it will ba wayyyyyyyyyy awesome.
Seeing as how it's Wyrmy Tunkins week, do you think it's possible that once BFA hits they may make the pet unobtainable?I highly doubt they would but I wish they would. It adds a level of pride in knowing you have these unobtainable items/pets/mounts that are worth so much to people who didn't dedicate time and effort into the content when it was current. You can use that to make more gold out of them or to just show off to your friends. i think something as small as archeology perks would be fine to be made unobtainable.
I did 8 of the archeology quests so I could obtain the artifact color. I think the changes they made in Legion made archeology less RNG, which was nice. I hope they add another mount for archeology in BFA, and that they keep adding quests to do the archeology sites.
